I have listened to the whole podcast; I disagree with a lot of points said here when it comes to second marriage. I am not defending women or claiming to be a feminist, alhamdulillah. I am not questioning the concept of more than one marriage. Allah's command is the most important command for me. I grew up in a lower-middle-class family, and all of them [the speakers] seem to be well-off and very responsible. They have a very less encounter with the people from non developed areas but their listeners are all over the pakistan. They should take everything into count. I am sorry to say, I felt bad when he mentioned that 'Aurtein apni taraf sy over smart banti hain.' Has he ever been to a mohalla-type area where every second man does not work and believes that Allah will make a way for him, but he wants to marry and have a lot of kids? They don't provide basic needs for their lives. I've experienced all this. Not every woman says all that stuff because of their greed. Men nowadays aren't responsible. I can't explain what type of life the majority of men are giving to their wives. Thousands of households around me are going through this. My question is not whether a second marriage is allowed or not. I don't know how to muster the courage even to marry somebody after seeing what is going on around me. And I am mentioning again, that it is not about giving a lavish lifestyle. Basic needs like clothes, kids' education, and sometimes food. Fathers' mercy on their kids, both boys and girls, is absent from the start. They don't even acknowledge that kids are something to spend time on, to give love and mercy, to show your sincerity. And when it comes to the wife, she is a slave. I fear Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Please, I request you to focus on people who are middle class. They will listen and implement without being proper humans, how they should be. Ask them to take responsibility at least. To fulfil the basic requirements. Not their needs. If they want to enjoy what Allah has commanded, they should know how to treat their wife and kids. I don't know why they are targeting women only when they talk about marriage. And one more thing. It's not about men earning lakhs and then marrying another woman. Wallahi, men don't work at all, and I'm a witness. And pray to Allah that I get peace from all the trauma I have experienced since childhood. And again, I am not against or even have 1 percent anything against a second or more than one marriage. I completely support and encourage it, but if you are human, you have emotions, you know how to treat another human. Life is not about money; it's about how merciful you are. Please give peace to your children. Please spread love. ❤ Forgive me if I'm wrong. -- A message from a hurt daughter, sister, and woman who encourages and supports more than one marriage, but only if you're human and responsible. ❤😊

Thank God,somebody has the same opinion You're immediately labelled feminist and kafir ,if you question men about these things,Allah literally says in surah nisa,marry to,2,3 or 4 but don't do it if you fear you'll be doing injustice to your wives and children They people complaint,women are becoming feminist and are negating the laws of the Qura'an They can't see where the problem comes from,how mulla's degrade women every now and then and joke on them,they say their knowledge is the inheritance of prophet (saw) but never heard of a hadith where my prophet (as) degraded or joked on women rather labelled then as "delicate like glass",This is the reason,people resent islam,they were never taught what true islam is,my heart cries when I think about it wallahi They literally never discuss finances,emotions etc of wives and children in polygamous marriages,it's always man,man and man,there are literally men with 4 wives,with 15 children almost jobless,living from the benefits of the government,there are literally men who leave their second wives not divorce just alone because they first one emotionally manipulated them,you can check the documentaries where the muslim marriage broker says "guys just want body" They literally act like men have tons of testosterone,so they need all the women but never understood and never understand people the main motive of polygamy They're very well off guys,they can do it and if they do it,it's their choice,none of our business,but they should propagate it with mindfulness and rather than quoting fatawa's scholar say what Qura'an and sunnah says
@zoyakhan65738 ай бұрын
So true, reading your comment makes me feel that there are others who have similar perspective as mine. Men really want to have second wife just for the sake of pleasure and not for fulfillimg their duties. I have seen men marrying 2 wife and denying all the rights of first wife and after years of torture she just gets soo tired that she stop caring at all. But the childrens have to suffer all those years. And the trauma stays with them for lifetime. Whereas daughters fear men like that and sons either ends up becoming like their father or change for good, which is very rare.

They psychology of men and women are changing And that doesn't mean they are denying islam or it's teachings (nauzubillah) It's not easy for women to tolerate a another women dancing on her head 24/7,common be a little emphatetic, Polygynous marriages are optional,LITERALLY OPTIONAL and if a woman feels she won't able to tolerate this,if by this she isn't able to fulfill his rights,this can be a ground for divorce,maybe there are some women who tolerate this, nobody likes it she only tolerates it, it's good for her There's some other woman who isn't able to tolerate it, it's also fine He quoted ibn baaz saying,"a woman who dislikes polygynous marriages is outside the realm of islam" For God's sake, why do you quote scholars,regarding the things which are already mentioned in hadith and Qura'an, just quote prophet (saw) and Qura'an, that's it And who're you decide,if she's outside the realm of islam, it's Allah's prerogative not yours or not any scholars I agree polygynous marriages are good for the upliftment of the women but not for every woman, what about the women's mental health? Isn't it zulm or in your terminology, women are trying to be "scholarly" My concern is not what you do inside your bedrooms and your houses,once you come out and keep projecting your thoughts on me in the name of islam, it's the problem Why can't you be unbiased,just express a clear cut opinion Your focus is only on the resentment of women towards second marriages, what about men trampling the rights of first wives, denying their rights,ignoring their children so on and so forth Such a hypocritic discussion And majority of the prophet's marriages were political, that too after his first wife passed Same with mola ali Just understood,islam isn't misogynistic and patriarchal but muslim men are

Yes woman can leave marriage and there us no sin on her ID she doesn't accept 2nd wife but can't stop or bash husband for 2nd marriage

And yes only should practicing muslim.man should go for 2nd marriage..and we woman can't decide that
@AnnaQ-cm9vl10 ай бұрын
@@Riz64019 nobody asked to bash him or stop him, He is not a child,he's a full grown man,Allah has given him fully developed brain to use,so he's to think if he'll be able to care and provide for both wives,physically,mentally, emotionally and financially Most men think their duty stops at financial assistance,but it's not so In short,my point is introspect before doing so,and if your wife doesn't want it,don't shame her And many men come with the argument,men are polygamous in nature,yes according to circumstances they can be but naturally they aren't,because it was Adam and hawa Not Adam and hawa×4
