This is a BTE ringless input, TSI 1.80 straight cut, 7 bolt pump with a T400 stator tube with 1 bushing inside the tube to direct lube from the cooler down the slot the length of the shaft. The flare developed when the input shaft twisted but didn't break originally, pinching the hub up against the now split in half dust cover on the underside of the drum cover, or the hub was wobbling in low gear on the tweaked/twisted input shaft, the damage to the dust cover is the clue the car made laps after the input twisted. This is what caused the flare, up until the shaft finally relented completely breaking in two . I'd suggest a 1" Coan ringless input, it'll take re-configuring to two bushings inside the stator tube. If that fails too, it'll need a 1.125" 35 spline input shaft, TSI has a kit or Sonnax. it'll take some work, you'll need to change to a 35 spline turbine hub in the converter, rear sun gear, hub in the drum and bigger inner diameter stator tube. At this point the thinner stator tube becomes the weak link, so from experience I suggest a spragless converter and not an active stator tugging on the tube. This is a Sonnax 10 clutch drum, run the clearance tighter than normal stock cast iron drum clearances, it's probably .060 now, tighten it if anything if it's more than .060 - .070. Adjust the band 3.75 turns from 72 inch pds, get a guided pin servo kit for it, especially if the line pressure is around 260psi or above, follow its directions on shims in accordance to line pressure in play. Try a 1" Coan ringless first off. Good luck
