Fun fact In the frame at 9:52 you can see a silhouette of Samus from Metroid. She was rumored to be a part of the Chapter 2 Season 7 battle pass or just a skin in the shop. However, an issue working with Nintendo, they asked Epic Games to make it where the skin was completely locked to the switch only. If a player was playing as Samus, it would appear as a default on every other console, you wouldn't even be able to buy her unless you had the switch. So because of this, the collab was canceled and we haven't heard rumors for any other Nintendo character since.

You said you don’t know how the Batman who laughs story ends? Let me tell you. The follow up one shot to this comic, Batman Fortnite: Foundation, was made to expand upon the games lore through a particular character, the foundation. At the end, Batman helps him return to the island, but the BWLs flies in with him. They fight, and The Foundation kills him. But because this happened in the loop he respawns, only catch is his helmet being made from the world forge, and since all realities come from the zero point, the world forge helmet has similar energy to the zero point, making him keep his memories during the loop, the story ending with him trapped in Fortnite. What makes this funny, is that this is the most recent and final appearance of the Batman who laughs. HIS CANON FATE IS BEING TRAPPED IN FORTNITE. Thank you Fortnite for riding us of this evil

And that ending.....knowing as much as I do about their relationship throughout comics history and that it takes place NOW like when the omniverse is open and they remember everything is so impactful. It made me cry haha. I mean I agree they should be married and hated the decision at the time, but maybe it was good storytelling after all? I think it should be rectified. But somehow, this fortnite comic redeemed that dumb decision. Great video.

Because they have a good storyline director, Donald Mustard. He gives us pieces and we put them together. Like the whole Zero Point thing was a mystery, until this comic came out and showed us that it doesn't just send you anywhere, it has to focus on a location. That it has cognitive thought (I think).

I don’t know the lore of Fortnite enough to know for sure, but assuming the fortnight original characters are meant to be the players, imagine the pure confusion. These guys are experiencing when they see Batman, who they think is just another player who is using a Batman skin suddenly use sign language, and then actual karate as if this is Arkham.
