Started doing MT aged 55, love it. Now aged 57, body is suffering at times and its hard to stay motivated. I basically do it to try to keep in shape, watching videos like this inspire me to keep going, especially when I'm injured. Thanks Liam, love your videos. Just wish I'd started 30 years earlier. 👍💪

If you’re doing it to stay in shape and keep disciplined, it’s just about doing it everyday even if you feel slow and weak. It’s mainly about movement and proper form/technique. Power/speed come through the proper form, don’t push yourself to your limit every training/exercise session. It’s about longevity 🙏🏻

I'm 31 years old and I've been on and off with Shotokan Karate for almost 20 years now. I started when I was 11 and I just made brown belt a year ago because I've made excuses my whole life. Well, I start again in a couple of days and I made a promise to myself "no more excuses, being uncomfortable is a part of life." I'm going for my black belt and I'm gona take MMA classes on top of that. I'll never be on the level of these guys, but I want to become the best fighter I can be and after that, I've decided to go back to nursing school. It's never too late guys no matter your age.

I want to make a declaration Right now. No matter how much credit card debt you are in, no matter how far behind on your mortgage, no matter what the doctor said about your health, no matter how many weeks behind you are on your rent, no matter who hurts you, no matter how your parents treated you when you grew up, no matter how bad your love hurts you, no matter who passed away in your family, no matter what the new says, no matter what the papers say or the radio says about the economy, no matter how bad your friends betrayed you, no matter what your boss said about you before he fired you or laid you off, no matter what people think when they see you, no matter how many times you have failed before, no matter how far away you are from your goals, no matter how many classes in school you failed, no matter what you have done in the past, no matter what the devil had lied to you and made you believe about yourself YOU ARE GONNA MAKE IT! YOU ARE GOING TO COME OUT OF THIS VICTORIOUS! YOU ARE GOING TO SUCCEED! YOU ARE GOING TO BE PROSPEROUS! YOU ARE GOING TO PAY OFF YOUR DEBT AND MORTGAGE! YOU ARE GOING TO FIND THE RIGHT JOB! YOU ARE GOING TO CLIMB OUT OF THE NEGATIVE SITUATION YOU ARE IN! IT'S SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!!! WE DON'T EXPECT EXCUSE HERE ANYMORE, ONLY RESPONSIBLE AND POSITIVE ACTION, YOU ARE GOING TO BE A ROLE MODEL AND A POSITIVE EXAMPLE OF WHAT A WINNER IS SUPPOSE TO LOOK LIKE, YOUARE AN OVERCOMER, A FIGHTER THAT REFUSES TO QUIT, WHO WILL NOT BE DENIED!!!!!!!! GOD IS WITH YOU AND HE IS BIGGER THAN ANY OF YOUR PROBLEM YOU HAVE! HE WILL NOT FAIL YOU! THE WORLD'S NEGATIVITY WILL NOT HAVE ANYMORE EFFECT ON YOU! YOU ARE GOING TO REACH EVERY GOALSYOU HAVE SET! NO THING OR SITUATION IS GOING TO STOP YOU! FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION... REMOVE IT FROM YOUR DICTIONARY! YOU HAVE COURAGE, SELF CONFIDENCE & ALL SKILLS YOU NEED TO MAKE IT! I've been fighting, teaching, and training for decades and still don't understand toughness. Technique never overpowers spirit or grit. I had a kid in my school who never fought before but was physically beaten my his old man till he moved out at 15. He was terrifying when inspired by violence.
