Oh Father, today I heard your words of reassurance, that perhaps I am on the path I desired so long ago. For our Lord in his mercy has taken my house, my money, my business, and now,praise God, He asks for my attachments, my false programs for happiness...that run so very deep, and we're so close to my very being that I COULD NOT SEE THEM! Father I am so grateful for your videos. Am recovering from surgery in late June and unable to attend Divine Liturgy until early August. Was Chrismated on Pentecost Sunday so am new to Orthodoxy and Am missing Divine Liturgy, Eucharist and Saturday vespers. Where you start thinking of million ways of coincidence that this might have been caused, but no matter which approach you take, the answer stays only one. That this was God. I only know of this video just now at 12am 5/1. I am thankful I hear of your illness from your mouth only after you are healed. I don't know if you realize it but Christ has given the monastery a very large community. 45.5K People subscribed to Mull Monastery on youtube. We all watch and share in the messages inspired by God through you and this channel. When you are speaking you are speaking for Christ. You are a very humble man and I understand you wanted to live in a hermitage but Christ's plans was for you to share your life through Christ with the world so his Glory may shine upon us. October 2022, I found a stray kitten in terrible condition, took him home and cared for him, bringing him back and forth from the vet and at one point his mouth started smelling extremely bad and I took him to see his nurse. She said half his teeth were rotting and he had to go under anaesthesia and have them removed, obviously a very dangerous procedure for a kitten. That night I went home and for the first time probably ever in my life, I prayed. I prayed to God to help us and to heal him and I cried. I barely believed in God at the time. Some days later me and the cat are sitting together and suddenly something falls from his mouth and I'm sitting on it and it's sharp. I pick it up and it is a piece of mandible, with little teeth on it. Indeed his 'rotting' teeth had all fallen off in one piece. Nobody could believed it. The only explanation was that he broke his jaw as a newborn but how did he survive it and why wasn't he in any pain. It could still very well be the case but God isn't confined by space and time. He didn't need any surgery after that. The problem solved itself and he is now one year old going two, God bless him.
