I went fishing on a charter with Capt. Preston Muller from Gulf Angler Fishing Charters and the objective was to have a multi-species day on different reefs off the coast of Destin, Florida.

Hey Josh, make a trip over to Naples, FL sometime. Great for everything- freshwater, saltwater, brackish. PB bass 7-8lbs off a great secret golf course spot. PB sharks- 11ft hammer and 12ft tiger both from the beach! Would love to do some fishing with you and learn a few things so let me know!

I went fishing on the same Saturday you went and we caught our love bait then used them for the amberjacks. The first luck we didn't have any luck then we moved spots and destroyed them. There were 4 of us with 6 to 8 big (25-35lb) amber jacks we also caught red snapper two times that size. We were 20 miles east of destin. I think you should have spent more time on the amberjacks but I can't tell you what to do. BlacktipH

This trip was filmed on Sunday. The moon was at 98% on top of a neap tide. The goal was not to catch amberjack; it was to catch amberjack on top water plugs which we do often. That particular spot has 80lbers and thats what we were after. Glad you found some on live bait though. One of my favorite fish.
