@@razadelasand899 In all fairness, that photo was from Trendmood. The swatches from Cover FX appear to be a lot lighter, and probably closer to what you'd actually be getting. I'm not sure if it's lighting or editing, but I was very surprised at how different the two swatch photos were.

Love the look, I give CoverFix credit they made shades dark enough for women who are beyond the normal concealer ebony shade my only problem with it is that it’s undertone classes with yours so it gives off a yellowish/grayish gleam but I think for someone with an olive undertone this would work well

There are wayyyyyy too many darker skinned people in the world for companies to not be able to find someone to test match on and make contour shades for. As a very dark skinned person I feel your pain and honesty if a product can’t get as close to your skin tone as possible I don’t even bother. I’m pretty happy you mentioned Makeup revolution because I bought their concealer online hoping I’d finally find a contour product. I’m maybe a shade or two lighter than you, and most times the deepest shade is way too light for me. What happens for people who are darker than you? It really upsets me that those of us past brown paper bag complexion still have this struggle. And let’s not get into bronzer. That’s a joke! But all in all thanks for doing these types of videos. It feels good to know I’m not in this struggle by myself and that someone has a platform that hopefully one day will get the attention of every last company and make them do better. Every single complexion product needs to be diverse, and of an outstanding quality for us darker toned people.

Have you seen the Mac conceal and correct in extra deep? Not sure if it’s new but it has a shade that looks like the color from Ben nye you use to contour. Thought you may want to try it out. Also I hate that you don’t have a good shade match in cover fx because I LOVE them. ☹️

I thought this would be a lot darker because of Trendmood's swatches, but I later realized that the Cover FX swatches are likely much more accurate -- they're nowhere near as dark. I don't believe there's a line out there that fits "all" skintones. Someone always ends up getting left out, even when there are 50+ shades. Companies should stop using that as a marketing ploy.

Cover fx power play is awesome ☺️ I love lightening my fav concealers and hilighting with the “white” concealer... it saved all my concealers that weren’t light enough :) great coverage... hides dark circles under eye... I find it does crease, but that’s just because my eyes always water... couldn’t find a light enough concealer for the longest time.. the white shade is best described as resembling Bic White Out.
