Hi. What silicon adhesive did you use? And do you have to tank the bathroom as well? Is that necessarily?
@everlastbuilders3 күн бұрын
My go to silicone is Dowsil 785 . The best grab adhesive I use comes direct from multi panel. But plenty of others work well. Fix all is a good all rounder. I do find white adhesives grab better than clear 🤷 personally I would say no need to tank as the boards are 100% waterproof!

Dunno if this is a daft question but why are the baths always empty when I see folk sealing the wet wall to the bath edge? I’d have thought you’d need it full?
@everlastbuilders5 ай бұрын
@@RichieST08 hi the panels are heavy so the weight of them force the bath to settle so no need to fill bath with water. Iv never had any issues as long as the bath is fitted correctly in the first place

Great technique, thanks. What would you say to cutting the rear panel and bending it around an internal corner?
@everlastbuilders5 ай бұрын
@@alicat398 can be done. Or there is a trim called last corner Type Y. Made by multipanel for the last corner

Hi. Thanks for the message. I’m booked up till October. So probably not sorry. 😔

What are my options if the panels are short by about 40mm floor to ceiling? This is only from the ends of a shower tray, the boards will fit neatly on the tray to ceiling but then where the boards extend out of the shower I'd have a gap from tray top to floor, about 40-50mm, I'm thinking of screwing a correctly sized fillet from another board to make it up?
@everlastbuilders Жыл бұрын
Hi so sorry for late reply. Few options. Personally I would run a temp batton around bottom. Fit panels to ceiling. Then remove batton and piece panel back in. Or slap a skirting or drop the boards and fit coving. Hope you get it sorted mate

Also what is that corner piece called and who makes it. Thanks.

Any chance you can remember which panels the first ones were you’ve shown in this video please? As in; the name of the “design” as such?

@@stefaniecreten6011 hey concrete elements. By multipanel i think

That's great but do you need the trim at all, why not just leave a 2mm gap a slicone it?

Hi thanks for comment. Now a days I would use the invisible corner in wet area to not void warranty. But rest of bathroom I don’t bother putting them in . I do what you suggested

Hi, I have a 1200 wide shower, will a 1200 wide board fit or do I need to trim off the tongue and groove going into a standard internal corner profile? Would twp 900mm sheets be better? Thank you.
@everlastbuilders Жыл бұрын
Hey. No Multi panel Tongue and groove boards are only 1180mm wide and the tongue and groove makes it up to 1200mm but they do sell the boards with out the tongue and groove which are 1200 wide. That’s what you will probably be better of with

Do you see the joint lines slightly ?
@everlastbuilders Жыл бұрын
Slightly mate. Some times you get good joins that aren’t visible. Also depends on colour. These grey boards do hide the joins well

Hi most the panels are 11-12mm you can get some really thin bendy one around 3mm thick.

sure do, Especially when you can get colour match silicone. Alot more care has to be taken when cutting the boards tho.
