since i retired from the Marines, i been slowly building a LaRue.. this month, Mark dropped thousands and thousandfs of parts, old and new at Optics planet, Primary Arms, and Midway..i just bought a LaRue barrell for 138$ at optic planet todat.. I love LaRue.. cant wait for my 556 to be completed next week!! love ur vids! great info! ur a dang good shot too!

I got in on the pre buy Siete. I have the .308, 6.5CM, and .338 Federal barrels for mine. I couldn't be happier with this rifle. I have a number of AR's built with LaRue upers and all of my AR's run the straight 2 stage MBT triggers from LaRue.

You don't need to rezero your scope elevation just move your windage. I would zero MY main caliber at 200 yards THEN shoot your other barrels to find there zero. One might be 185 yards another maybe 125 yards. THEN print a DOPE card out for each barrel with the zero windage adjustment. Just use the scope to comp for the wind.

A very interesting rifle! And it compacts down pretty well too to fit in such a small case. I don't know if you take requests for what guns to show next, but if you do...maybe try to find one of those old survival rifles? You know, the ones that could be taken apart and were basically emergency rifles for if you got stranded in the woods?

Those are called takedowns. Mostly used for 22lr and small game hunting, however there are ways to compact down a bigger rifle as well :) the Ruger precision rifle is a good buy atm

Well depending on what you're using the platform for, it's always good to be able to more precisely choose the caliber of cartridge for what you're using the weapon for. Wouldn't be a point to bring a sledge hammer to a knife fight so to speak, and vice versa.

Dustin, you should compare it against a bighorn origin build. You could have multiple calibers and bolt faces for the same or lower cost, with match grade barrels. Hope this comment doesn’t get deleted…

Looks similar to a Ruger precision. Although you can't swap barrels on the go with the ruger. I can buy 2 Rugers or more for the price though
