Thanks for the vid. You're right, being able to manage multiple desktops across multiple multiple monitors is really lacking in comparison to how OSX does it. I doubt Microsoft is going to make any improvements in this area any time soon as it was just as bad on Win 10

You can do all - on one monitor. Microsoft promised a better handling of windows for multiple monitors. But for such simple actions like stretch the window across all monitors, stretch a window to the midlle and left monitor, swap the window to the next monitor, hold a window in the foreground you need special software as DisplayFusion or Ultramon. Really Microsoft? How much decades do you need to build a user firendly OS which can handle multi monitor setups with ease?

Same issue here. I just added a portable LCD for my laptop and immediately found out about the lack of options for the virtual desktops. It should only change where the mouse is located. Same way that it does when scrolling with two fingers. It doesn't scroll both monitors at the same time...that would be stupid. Same thing here. Four finger swipe should only be on the monitor that is active. Done and done.

Agree. I hate the virtual desktop with multiple monitor. I used Mac os in the long time and I always used virtual desktop of mac with dual monitor, and when I switch to windows, the big issue is the multiple monitor

Windows get virtual desktops last and does it the the worst. But the auto snap layout is neat, it’s like my iPad

Hi, Multiple Desktop feature of Windows - I can sugest something useful to you. (1) create say 2 desktop (2) on the settings show only desktop icon - This will show only the desktop (3) Open the task view and right click on the open application and it will give you option to choose desktop . So the windows offer feature of 2 independent application for multiple desktop . Please try out -

Came on youtube after being being like "naaaaaah, there's no way it's THIS crappy, let's see if others have had this issue" .... yup.... it IS in fact that crappy. I wanna stream youtube/netflix on my external display while still keeping my multiple desktop workflow on my laptop. But.... microsoft said nope!

Multiple desktops on PC is counter intuitive and a massive oversight. It is impossible to use multiple monitors with virtual desktops. You have to use one or the other
