Authorities are investigating an early morning crime spree that affected several businesses at a strip mall on the corner of Verdugo and York.

The guy was in and out of the businesses for more than 30 mins and no cops on site. Alarms going off. He only left because the donut shop workers showed up to open the business. But the cops have been here for more than 4 hrs now standing around... 🤦‍♀️

⁠@@theotheleo6830why do folks like you lie. LAPD budget cut 150 million in 2020. Not just defunded but de-supported by folks like you. 1,000 officers lost since 2019. The issue is two fold. Technology has replaced patrol. Cameras catch the criminals but yet response is slower than ever when it shouldn’t be. Property is low priority due to how it’s prosecuted or basically isn’t. Why arrest or try to stop when the criminal goes unpunished. I highly doubt you will even respond back.
