Easy day and only a couple hours of work. Two dumpster rentals, a wooden pallet delivery and relocating a storage unit.

I used to deliver those containers. Leave that "shoe" hanging off. If you're within 3 feet of your taillights, you're legal. Then you can put that corner right on the ground & just drive out to unload. Plus get bigger boards & put them back by the closest forklift pocket for more clearance to back under the box

First awesome! Second get you a container chain and add you a roller on the back of your trailer that the container can just role up on that way you can get it to the half way point and drop your trailer back down and put less stress on your Wench and the ass end of container will just role over it without having to block it with trailer still up. Also helps to unload them easy

Find the 12v power wire on your trailer harness, the harness should run in to the box and then back out, I cut the sheathing of mine to expose the wires cut the 12v and splice a piece of 10-12 gauge wire with a inline fuse and and put a ring terminal on the end and connect it to the battery. When you have it plugged in to the truck and it’s running the hit wire should put out around 13.4-13.8 volts which can charge your battery’s while you are driving around and even supply the voltage to run your winches

Hey Clayton, great video, wish we could have seen the drop off of the container, was looking forward to that, I was just curious if it was any more challenging than loading it onto the trailer? Thanks and keep grinding, hope you're doing well and killing it! Brian

I'm 22 and have been wanting to start my own business/Hussle and originally was going to buy some dump trailers and found your channel with the roll offs. The more I watch, the more I want to pull the trigger on one of these trailers. It has been a tremendous help with guiding people in the right direction, I appreciate it man and keep it up. Do you only do dumpster rentals? I want to do dumpster rentals, material delivery and I have a biggest class sub compact tractor and want to do driveways and whatever else I can do with it.

Keep watching my channel, man! I'm in all kinds of stuff. Storage units, rental property, dumpsters, demo, and equipment rental are my big things. I won't push you to do dumpsters, trash or junk. It worked well for me. would it work for everyone? No, you really need to evaluate your area, possible niche and market. The purpose of my channel is to show people you can start a side hustle, and I always suggest one that can over lap with multiple industries so you can slowly build a business and lock down a niche that works for you. Hopefully you see a few things that spark ideas and help you identify opportunities. Thanks for reaching out and watching!

I will hook the chain up to the rub rails on my tilt trailer bring the tail back up shove the boards underneath, drop the tail back down and just straight back Till I get towards the end and then I will drop the tail down a little bit more and back up a couple more feet until the front of the containers all the way up to the front of my trailer. No winch needed

I've done that before many times as well! But this was an HOA neighborhood with a brand new road. Didn't want to accidently push the container backwards on that new road.

Great videos. I agree with jimmy and I would look into a container chain (it’s just quarter turn to lock into container post) saves lots of time. If you wan to get fancy there is a double pin system to mak a stop and lock front of container in side rails and is dot legal so you don’t have to strap (also faster). Let me know if you want links for anything

Hey brother, quick question, what payment service do you use to charge people (weight overages, things like that)? Also what contract do you use, one you made up or did you pay for one through someone? I know other KZbinrs have contracts for sale in their description, is that what you used? And one more thing, lol, do you use any other services like doc-it? Basically if you could make a list of the services you use to make your business run smooth and life easier I would appreciate it! Also not a bad idea for a video! Also thanks for the videos you make bro, really inspiring and full of great ideas and content! I saw the first video that your friend made of you for his KZbin channel and that’s what inspired me to get into the business, I’m picking up a MaxxD 14k with two bins this weekend (I’m in Cali so no competition to you). lol Keep up the good work brother!

I’ve been debating on putting decals on my truck, what made you finally putting your company on yours? I have my dump trailers labeled, just iffy on when I do my truck finally. I know before you didn’t have your company on your truck.

Once I knew I was totally operational/legal in the eyes of DOT I knew I wanted to go bigger. Figured that helped solidify it.

at the pallet job, can you leave a container or flatbed for them to load to cut down on time for you?

$225 is more than fair. I could easily see charging $250 plus mileage for more than x amount of distance. Since you got the trailer and as long as you got the time why not move containers for other people.

Yep, I may have regretted the quote if it took me longer. But I was loaded and unloaded in like 45 min. Easy!
@danahasson2892
@danahasson2892 2 жыл бұрын
@@rollingops It took you longer than 45 minutes and the reason why I say that is remember you had to hook up the trailer you had to drive from your office to the clients place and then after you dropped off the container you had to drive back to your office. Remember all the big companies are charging porthole to porthole.
@rollingops
@rollingops 2 жыл бұрын
@@danahasson2892 I mean I guess so. But I actually hooked up to the trailer. Emptied the pallets, drove to the container location, dropped off the container then went home. May have taken an hr by the time I got home I guess. But all within like 6-10 miles! Ha small town living.

@@rollingops I'm not trying to bust your chops I just like People to realize that there's more time involved usually than they think. A lot of people forget to include their travel time or at least partial of their travel time To get to the job location and to get back to their office or their home
