Do not use an impact gun whatsoever! I use a Ryobi 1/2 drill. Works perfectly and doesn’t hammer the jacks internal gears

Wait... $140 is the cheapest I could get that gravel plus delivery... Another $150 for a 4 hours rental of the skid... Another $40 for good landscape weed barrier... Compactor rental? Thats the lowest number I can come up with in Knoxville, Tn.. $300+++

@tracybrayton6800 rock from our quarry is insanely cheap. Menards sells smaller rolls of the geo fabric barrier, and I own the skid...and roll off trailer. So it was really just the cost of material.

I’m doing my gravel driveway just like this and it’s 140’ long….definitely worth a try! You wouldn’t believe the quotes I got, it’s insane. I’m renting a skid steer, a dump trailer, and getting all the gravel for less than 1/4 of what they wanted at absolute cheapest! Thanks for the idea !!!

@@rollingops sorry, this was based on the shorts! I hadn’t watched the full length vids yet, but glad I did. I live in STL, about 2 hours from Quincy, and I’m in the beginning stages of doing some similar things. I’ve been a mechanic for almost 30 years (I’m 48) and have successfully rehabbed 26 homes, but I’m getting to old to be doing that kind of labor. I need to start letting the machines work! Glad to see someone doing this at a younger age.

I made one years ago from the excess of a cross shaft. Replaced at least one full landing gear a week. That was a game changer.

If the trailer is empty, okay, will it work with a full trailer,, it's no way a drill or even a impact gun is going to lift a full trailer

Hey man ive seen some of your videos jumping up getting on dumpsters to tarp. Would welding a few rungs as a latter to each dumpster be a big help. Less change of injury, easier, and especially more beneficial as you get older

I think if you add a snatch block it will extend the life of your winch by dividing the work load on the winch.
