I see why we got that poll yesterday. Honestly, if all players are eliminated, victory should go to whoever owns the most territory when all marbles are expended or when the color of the last marble remaining owns the majority of the map. In this case, blue.

I've been thinking about this a lot, here's what I have in mind: win without any enemy balls = complete victory destruction after win = phyrric victory eliminate player from the grave = undead victory cover the whole map with paint = paint victory or something like that.

Idea: Regeneration walls Every time they are hit, they regenerate 1 heath every 20 seconds. If they die, the regeneration effect will still work. So they can come back. But the effect will be 10 seconds slower. Edit: I didn’t even expect this to get even 14 likes. After all, my most liked comment has more then 1k.

Idea: Reclamation A previously rouge arena (similar to this one) has to be taken back by a team color you can introduce to the arena. Once Reclaimed by you, you clear the arena for a later round.

I like it! Perfect amount of chaos, but the progression still felt a little slow at the start. Otherwise, fantastic job per usual! Maybe you should add a separate plinko where the marbles can activate special powerups. For example, blue hits a teleport pad where it goes to a plinko that has three different powerups: Defense, being an explosion around that colors base, turning tiles in its radius it’s color, a 10 second 2x multiplier, and a special shot that immediately destroys active shots. It can go through any tile, cannot take out enemy bases. Purely for killing those massive shots like blue’s 15000.

Could marbles have most colliders the same, but a wall collider that is about half the size? 🤔 (Simply so walls and corners can be entirely painted.)

@@deltamico From what I understood, If a marble has a radius of 100 pixels, the wall collider will have a radius of 50 pixels

Other possibility : make that the 4 corners are 2x2 blocks so easier to get (but maybe reduce the value of the marble by 4 instead of 1)

That's a good idea, thanks for suggesting! Kinda reminds me of the setup I had for my very first 1000x1000 match during development: balls on the edge would slowly accelerate towards the center of the map. This would be similar. I'll try it or something inspired by this idea.

i still think that destroying an enemy spot should join the side it get destroyed by - at the point where blue and red mutually eliminated each other could end up just by swapping sides and keep going - so yellow would not have gained an undeserved victory:)

This may be a nightmare to try and code but I would love for there to be something that triggers if we have a situation like this again. If a colors Canon is eliminated but they still have a ball bouncing around the area and that ball happens to recolor the area where there Cannon was their Canon is restored.

In some versions, when a big Death Star is slowed down beyond a certain limit, it'll gain a minimal speed so it won't get stuck into a corner. There was also an upper speed limit preventing little marbles from gaining too much speed by colliding with Death Stars and jumping out of the field (RIP Lost Marbles), but I think this one was kept in this version.
