03:18 Additional Info regarding the IndiGo Airbus A321 NEO that didn't retract her landing gear after lift-off: I asked a friend of mine who is a pilot for IndiGo about this and he said that if for some reason the auto-brakes are deactivated, the operational procedure says that after lift-off the gear needs to be down for one minute before retraction. This is done so that the wheels can stop spinning before the landing gears are retracted. If you look closely in my video, you can see the wheels spinning. Compare it with another IndiGo A321 NEO's departure at 03:47. You can see the wheels stop spinning as soon as the brakes are applied. Similar experience here. In June this year I saw an Airbus 319 take off from BDQ to Mumbai. That aircraft also didn't retract the gear immediately after take off, instead it did so after taking a turn to the South. Thanks for sharing this Vaibhav!

AI-B777 was a superb shot. Loved the Video. Being a former Mumbaikar as well from where do you take these shots? These are surely from Santa Cruz Side Runway 09. All B747 are know cargo transporters. I wish they bring some of them back to service.

It’s interesting AI is using a 777-300ER to go to Delhi, that’s a type I’ve flown from Newark to Mumbai many times, short flight for a big bird! Is it the passenger capability that makes them use it?

It is interesting but there can be multiple reasons for this. 1) BOM-DEL is actually one of the busiest routes in the world, so maybe the flight had enough passengers to fill a 77W. 2) Repositioning flight for the aircraft. 3) She was operating a BOM-DEL-JFK/EWR type flight. For a few weeks before covid pandemic, Air India flew their Boeing 747 on BOM-DEL route every morning. Sadly, the flight was downgraded to an A320 before I could fly it!😔

@@Vaibhav_Shah Ahhhh, you make great points! That repositioning flight one is something I didn’t think of, that’d be a great way to make extra money for company. You ever flown on a 747 Vaibhav? I did once on Lufthansa from Mumbai to Switzerland in economy, super uncomfortable seat lol. Now those jets coming into Mumbai would be be fun to ride in! Lots of private jets are a good sign for Mumbai’s economy! Love spotting & looking at the big airplanes & planes with cool painted livery’s but when comes to riding in, I’ll take an old 50 seater or less jet any day, they’re so fast and bumpy which I love 😍

Lucky you! I have never flown on a 747 yet and I'm ready to jump on any chance I get even if the seat is uncomfortable 🤪 I fly probably once or twice in a year and most times it's on a narrow body aircraft. As I don't fly often, I tend to enjoy each flight irrespective of some inconveniences. Flying in a private jet is something I never dreamed of but would love to experience someday. I guess it must be nice to not worry about the legroom or the person seated next to you.😄 I wish to fly in as many aircraft types as possible. Some will be nice some won't be that nice, but I wish to experience them all.😀
