I am da 80s club! we didn't had that many spotters during the time @JariMari tin hut ! it was Nokia Camera ages, no 4k nor tht much HD nor RTX GPUs rendering, only 360p n we were happy with the 3gp video quality! Very happy to see such great spotting community rise up..and bringing up such contents from one eyes simply blows you away! Great video! Thanks for sharing , Vaibhav. I've often wondered why the aircraft landing on 27-9 in BOM seem to touch down so late? It looks like they are touching down practically at the middle of the runway.

Thank you! I wonder about that too. I guess the runway in normal conditions is long enough for a plane to vacate safely even after landing further.

The planes do not land in the middle of the runway. They land at a particular point known as the "TOUCHDOWN ZONE". It is marked by big and bold whites stripes, which is located at the starting of the runway. This runway in particalar has a "DISPLACED THRESHOLD" which means that the actual landing runway starts further down the whole runway but the departing aircraft can line up and takeoff from the start of the runway.

They're already withdrawn from use. They're probably parked at the gate because of lack of parking near hangars.

Mumbai airport crossed 1000 flights with a single functional runway to help that issue overcome, a second airport is being build (in Navi mumbai) with 2 runways

Plane spotting at Civil Airports in India is legal. But most locals/cops dont know this so they harass plane spotters all the time. That is why I dont spot often and when I do, I dont spot for too long. Have to keep an eye out all the time.
