Hey guys!
Today we wanted to check out this Indian restaurant that has GREAT reviews and some dishes we had never tried before! I was really excited about the Pani Puri, it was soooooooo delicious I could eat like 30 of them hahaha its the perfect snack! Crunchy, tasty, flavourful, and easy to eat! Then we had a southern Indian lamb dish that was super elegant and had to stop eating hahaha Anyways guys, we plan to visit Indian next year, we are super excited and let us know where we should go :)

@@alfonsoandjessica Panipuri is not Mumbai dish, though over time it has spread all accross India it is originally a north Indian dish. Mumbai lies in Western India. Mumbai dish with similar name is Bhelpuri, but it is very different dish. You should try that also, if you are able to get it somewhere. And to enjoy Panipuri fully you need to fill it till the top not half fill it. One more famous North Indian street food is "Aloo tikki chat". Try it if you get it somewhere :).

In Hindi, Carrots are called 'Gajar'. Watching you and Alfonso eat Indian food with relish suddenly brings to life my craving for Indian food :)_ Therefore I watch your channel only when I have some Indian food in the kitchen :)- Some other street food: North Indian: Pav Baaji (Mumbai), Kachori, Samosa Chat, Bhel Puri, Chola Batura, Maggie Masala Noodles; South Indian: Pakodi, Bhajji, Mirchi Bhajji (Bhajji made with Jalapeno like vegetable), Puri-Kurma, Upma,; Sweets/dessert: Jalebi (or Jangri), Kesari, Laddoo, Gulab-Jamun, Rassogulla. You can get many of these as pre-packaged and 'ready to eat' at any good Indian store for a very economical price. Not sure where you live, but you should google some Indian food stores and go buy a few things there and try them out. Don't forget to get some make-at-home Maggie Masala Noodles packets (these are marketed in India as dho-minute or two-minute noodles, but do take 5-10 min to cook). You could do a vlog as you are buying and trying them.

When you visit India, do visit Odisha. It isn't much of a popular tourist places, but, I bet you will enjoy a lot here. Some great places to visit in Odisha are - Puri, Konark, Chilika, Khandagiri, Similipal. Some good food to try are 1. Chhenapoda 2. Puri khajaa(Available near Jagannath temple Puri)(You can also try prasad there) 3. Dahibara Aloodam(Best in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar ) 4. Khirachora Gopinath Mandir Prasad(Balasore) - Really awesome 5. Samosa, Vada(Here the samosa is bit different than samosa in rest of India) 6. Go to any good sweet shop and try various sweets 7. Another thing to try is pakhala, badi chura and fish fry (But, I doubt whether you will get it at restaurants - This is something we eat a lot at home during summer)

Dear Jessica plz do not eat the green cardamom. Its for flavouring the halwa. Do not consume any whole spice you come across in Indian food, they are for flavouring the food not to be eaten. Thanks for enjoying the Indian delicacy but it's completely different of what is cooked in Indian homes. Which is altogether different experience though very yummy

I'm sure you're gonna land in New Delhi the capital, Delhi has a lot to offer, and you can go straight to the Red fort & the Taj Mahal from there. If you're a historical person, visit Rajasthan, you will be amazed to see the forts, lakes and the culture. For night life, beaches go to Goa. You can't miss the Golden temple in Amritsar. The list is actually never ending, there's much much more but these are some of the must visits😇☺️☺️.

Best time to visit India is winter. Nov to Feb. 1. You can start with Delhi head to Shimla. You can try North Indian food here and enjoy cool weather and hills. 2. You can then visit Mumbai for all the street food like vadapav, dabeli, bhel Puri, Sev Puri, Pani Puri, Pav bhaji and also some Gujarati food like Dhokla, Patra, Fafda, Marathi food like Kothimbir Vadi, Ussal Pav, Missal Pav 3. Around Christmas you can head to Goa to enjoy Christmas, New year and their special cashew wine called freni and some amazing sea food. Good beaches and churches 4. You can also plan to visit Banaras for some good temples and pay a visit to the Indian holy river Ganga. From there you can head to Agra to have a look at Taj Mahal and then you can go to Mathura to see where Lord Krishna was born. Amazing history there. 4. Lastly you can visit Kerala for good beaches and South Indian food
