Aim for a price of around ₹500 for a one-way journey. Option 3: Cabs/Taxis - Price: Expect to pay between ₹700 to ₹1,000 for a one-way journey. However, prices may vary, and drivers might not always agree to your negotiated price. Option 4: TumTum Autos - Prices are similar to those of auto rickshaws. ------ Return Journey from Alibaug to Thane Step 1: Bus from Alibaug to Mandwa Jetty - Catch a bus operated by the ferry operator around 6:00 pm from near Alibaug Bus Depot, close to the ferry operator's office. - Reach Mandwa Jetty by 7:00 pm. Direct Auto Rickshaw or Sharing Tum Tum Rickshaw from Nagaon to Alibaug Then, change to another auto or Tum Tum from Alibaug to Mandwa Jetty. You'll need to change sharing autos because rickshaw operators have specified areas and checkpoints. This option is commonly used by locals who don't want to wait for ST buses. 2. ST Buses Running from Nagaon to Alibaug ST Depot: From there, take an auto or Tum Tum to Mandwa. 3. Ferry Operators' Bus Service: While M2M doesn't have its own bus service, other ferry operators provide one included in their ferry tickets. You can buy ferry tickets from any ticket offices near Alibaug ST Depot and use their buses to reach Mandwa. (This is my go to option because you can buy the most affordable tickets available and still they will be cheaper than going by Auto) 4. ST Buses Direct to Mandwa: Check their website and timetable to find direct buses from Nagaon to Mandwa or from Alibaug to Mandwa. However, this should be your last option because the schedule of buses on this route is not always confirmed. 5. Direct Auto or Tum Tum from Nagaon to Mandwa: If you don't find any of the above options and you're running late, you have the option for a direct auto or Tum Tum from Nagaon to Mandwa. However, ensure to bargain the price properly as the distance is around 30 kilometers. These are your options, so choose wisely based on your preferences and schedule.
