Honey Blocks are now the best blocks

It happened, Mojang changed honey blocks so now they no longer stick to slimeblocks, opening up all sorts of crazy possibilities for: flying machines, general redstone contraptions and compacting. I can't wait to experiment with these more!

We've already got automatic quarries that funnel blocks out of tunnels into central collection points. tbf minecraft doesn't really use the gpu the same way other games do, and it's not very optimised (why do you think scicraft has to make lag friendliness their #1 priority). this means that it basically doesn't matter what graphics card you have - hell, i used an apu and no graphics card for a while and it ran minecraft just fine - and even if you have a god-tier cpu, it still won't run spectacularly.

You could use that belt design for an elevator. I built a slime block elevator only ONCE, and it required an enormous amount of obsidian, a red stone clock, and redstone torch lines going from top to bottom. I had buttons on each floor to start and stop the elevator, but I never built one that stopped on specific floors automatically. But with that belt design, it looks like elevators would become easier, and able to stop on specific floors without having miles of redstone! To elaborate on my elevator, it was just a random project in a creative world I did just to see if I could. It was a 'fey mood', as it were. Sadly, though it was cool, its usefulness for survival mode was limited by the obscene amount of obsidian needed, and the fact I didn't have a way for it to automatically stop except at the very top and very bottom of the shaft. But these honey blocks seem to hold the key...

Sticky Feedtape to make a lottery machine. Or cycle through storage like a big conveyor belt inside a deeper storehouse. Or auto-feed stuff to furnaces by having storage cycle above hoppers into furnaces. That is, if there exists some storage block that can actually stick to slime/honey blocks (Shulker boxes? Chests?)
