Ehhh...one is someone using an anime character model on the internet, the other is dressing up in a fursuit IRL and identifying as an anthropomorphic character. I feel the people deepest into being a Vtuber, are nowhere near as deep as the people deepest into the Furry lifestyle.

Hell, even most Vtubers bully them too. Vtubers and Furries aren’t very similar aside from both being seen in a negative light. One is an occupation, the other is a lifestyle. Come on now. Hell, you can be a Vtuber and not even like anime. Vtubers are just streamers with a character to represent them. Furries, I’ll quote that video that went viral, “On all levels except physical, I am a wolf. Mrreahw!” They’re not that similar.
