Quelin owo That's the mentality of someone who has a slave soul and very low self esteem. Being independent ups her self esteem. Women being "independent" is the number 2 reason there are so many divorces today and so many screwed up kids. There are many happy marriages out there with women being dependent on their husbands. All these backwards thoughts, principles, morality and crap life will teach you the hard way that it is a waste; usually when you are old. Do what's best for you and the rest is commentary. "Depending on people's money can put me in uncomfortable situations." If you don't use your brain, yes.

Quelin owo I want humans to stop living by other people's standards and outdated beliefs and use their brain while on this rock, which is for a very short time. Humans are more complicated than the masks they wear in society. We are all playing to win and some people will use moral justifications to advance their side. This is a wolf eating wolf world and life is too short to spend it on the silliness. If you don't eat the wolf, the wolf will eat you.

Whitney Titus I totally disagree with you. I think most men are much more attracted to women with good work ethic and a drive to success than a "I just want a rich man to take care of me" attitude. I'm not saying "I don't need no man" as in a relationship sense. I think most people want love. I mean, they don't need a man to get money etc.
@Unintelligentful
@Unintelligentful 9 жыл бұрын
Whitney Titus I see your point and I totally understand what you mean. In my opinion to say "I don't want to work, I just want to be a housewife" is extremely inspirational and weak. Yes, I mean that. Why should a woman have to expect something from the man to offer? That's ridiculous. I feel relationships are far more than just "What can you give me?". It's about what you do for each OTHER. NOT just selfish gains. But i feel to grow up, with the sole purpose of your life to give birth and stay at home to raise another bunch of uninspired women is a bad thing.

James So then who's going to take care of her kids? The government? A bunch of strangers? Please, men and women were made for each other. There's nothing wrong with a woman expecting her husband to be financially secure. Yes some are overkill but don't expect the system to just take care of your kids.

+Whitney Titus I think love and relationships are a little more nuanced than that. successful relationships are not about "needing" one another. They're about WANTING one another- and wanting to share your lives.

I agree marrying for LOVE, that's the very first thing. But at the same time, that man needs to be FINANCIALLY STABLE. Even while I'm working in my career field being independent, I will not marry someone who does not work, or is always in debt. I mean, is not being a gold digger, is being REALISTIC. Do I want to see myself struggling financially and constantly worrying about not having anything to eat, or my lights being out due to the bills not getting paid, etc.. Money IS important, that's what keeps us alive. Without money we would have no home, no food, no nothing! Would I marry someone just for their money? No, never. My happiness and self worth comes first, but I will not marry someone that isn't financially stable. With that being said, both love and money are important. :)
@kaywill1850
@kaywill1850 9 жыл бұрын
Marisol R I agree. Financial stability is important. You don't need to be a millionaire or a billionaire but you do need to have that financial stability. Again, marrying for money is a no go. But marrying someone whom you love and adore AND who is also financially stable is a YES.

But at least he will learn his lesson, never spend money on women until you are actually certain you two like each other and she is willing to do the same for you. Most men learn it later on in life (like me for example) so while yes, it hurts at first to realize that being "nice" will only get women to step over you, it teaches you what not to do so you can have meaningful relationships in the future

I know right! My parents taught me the same. And also my dad was show protective with the "boyfriend issue" he always said I can't date until I'm like 24 but I know that's exaggerated. I'm 16 now and don't really want to date but God it's like pressured on you. The other day my cousin who i haven't seen in 6 years asked me if I had a BF and kept questioning why not and insisted I needed to have a boyfriend. Like hell no I don't.

SAME HERE!!!!!! I feel like girls really only look for these things nowadays and I always hear the whole "your so nice and gorgeous why aren't you dating?!" And I'm neither and I don't need a man. I need a good education and happiness. If happiness comes in the form of a man one day I will happily open my arms to him but I will not search for a guy. And it's hard thinking this way at sixteen with cousins and friends all the same age questioning it and pressuring me. But I'll stay strong and keep on the right track and all those little girls should do the same. Get a good education and live life happily.

yeah when I was 12 my mom married my old stepdad for his money (cause he was in the military and was getting benefits) It was all good in the beginning, new house, new swimming pool, new clothes. But it all went back on her, and sadly cause of her decision it effected my sister and I too. We went from that nice big house, to an apartment that she struggled to keep up working 2 jobs. We lost the apartment, she found a new boyfriend to provide for her then suddenly I was out of the picture. I was 14 and moved in with my dad, he ended up teaching me how to be independent and to provide for myself unlike my mother. Now I'm 17, go to school and work part time. I have money saved up in the account if I ever need anything, because I realized that I would rather have for myself then mooch off of other people's earnings. That's just me though (:

It's beyond wrong. It's GENDER ARROGANCE. It's putting a premium on your self worth. These little girls are being taught that they are intrinsically BETTER than their male counterparts. Usually, it's rooted in narcissim and them (females) BELIEVING that they have the god given right to be catered to BECAUSE they have a vagina. How utterly ARROGANT. Can you imagine one of the little boys dismissing one of the girls because the cookie she gave him was not up to par? Simply unimaginable.
@TheLadyT_93
@TheLadyT_93 10 жыл бұрын
Nathaniel Snipe I think female and males should be equal, but as if that'll happen because this is the type of world we live in. As a female I don't expect to be catered to, I was taught by both my parents to learn to take care of myself before I let anyone do it for me. Now I don't see it as these little girls being taught they are better, its them being taught just because they are female , males are obligated to give them whatever but thats not true, just like females are not obligated to give males whatever they want. This can go both ways
@nathanielsnipe1656
@nathanielsnipe1656 10 жыл бұрын
Arc San I understand that YOU (Arc San) don’t expect to be catered to but the YOUNG GIRLS in this video ( Mum Trains Kids to Be Gold-Diggers) are being CONDITIONED to think that BEING CATERED TO is some sort of ENTITLEMENT (and this is wrong). It’s usually as a result of FEMALES, I repeat, FEMALES looking into the mirror and falling in love with what they see. These are the beginning stages of becoming a narcissist. Example: I went to a fireworks display on 7/4/14 here in NYC. Most of the spectators were casually dressed (shorts, tee shirts, cut off blouses, sneakers, etc) but there were a few FEMALES that dressed TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE for the fireworks display. They were dressed as if they were attending an UP SCALE gala were people sipped on fine wine bought around on trays by waiters/ waitress. Please look up the name Tiarra Monet on face book to get a EXCELLENT EXAMPLE, as far as the faces, bodies, SHOES, and style of clothing is concern. I saw more than a few females who resemble Tiarra Monet and the VERY SAD part about it was that THEY WERE ALONE. This was probably the result of no one being good enough for them especially in the area of FINANCES. Don’t forget to look up Tiarra Monet on Face Book.

***** I said " good job and knowing they will be able to provide for their family" As in children and the household, being sure they are happy and are taken care of. I know so many people that are together that can't even provide because of poor choices, literally poor choices in life. But its important to marry/be with someone you're actually in love with AND they have actual goals in life to be successful and happy, not to bring you down. I'm not saying marry someone just for a good job or money. Love is important, but love won't pay bills :/
@utpye6554
@utpye6554 9 жыл бұрын
Totally agree. Everyone should work to take care of themselves and be financially independent. And men are suppose to be providers, but these women keep using the term rich. If you meet someone it is either through, school, work, or a social club/organization you are involved in. You either meet the person directly or through mutual friends. So if you don't have the grades or the money to get into that circle of people, how are you going to meet this rich person. Let's just say it is all about money. Is this person wanting to get married or be a playboy (are you willing to deal with someone that is unfaithful) , is he interested in you, does his family have a major say in who he marries, and I am sure there are more things. Also, are you ok with marrying an old guy. They will just be out there doing anything for a dollar bill, if they don't realize that educating yourself is the only key to a productive life and so is working to earn your own living.

People who say ''money can't buy happiness' have never lived hand to mouth, have never had to beg or ask for money. They've never had to choose between college and helping your parents pay the bills, you've never had to sacrifice trips with your friends or high school rites of passage because you just couldn't afford it. You've never had to choose between paying the bills or eating for that week. If I had money, I know I would be happy. I would have access to higher education, I would have access to healthy food, I wouldn't have to break my back working minimum wage jobs, I wouldn't have to have my mom worry about where the gas is going to come from to take me to my hospital and therapy appointments. I would be able to take trips all over the world and learn and explore cultures. I would be able to give money to those in need and make other people happy. Money can buy happiness. Financial security can buy happiness. You just have to know what to do with it.

AGREED! Too many people say money can't buy happiness. Haha!!! This comes from rich people and the main stream media telling you that to keep you in line so they can keep collecting money because of your insecurities. Anyone that thinks that any of the people that have money are unhappy then they need to wake up and stop being in denial. I totally agree with your assessment as well and I quote you on this "You just have to know what to do with it." Too many people do not know what to do with their money!!!

TAShannon1 I'm sorry, but I guess you're not aware of what that actually means? Like, to me Financial Security ALLOWS ME the ABILITY to be happy. If I had the ABILITY to not stress to the point of sickness about bills, food, and my health I KNOW I would be happy because the few times where that didn't happen I was able to de-stress, relax and get better. Like I said before, you just have to know what to do with the money.

To be honest, if a man is beta enough to spend his hard earned money on a woman just "because he likes her" then he deserves to be taken advantage of. Learn how to say no. Tell her to buy you a drink or tell her when the bill comes that you're splitting it and if she starts with the "oh but you're the man blah blah" bullshit, then just get up and leave. We owe them NOTHING. So simple, there are over 3 billion women in this world, i'm pretty sure these men will find cool chicks that aren't leeches, but if you're always giving and giving like a dumbass then I don't blame them for using you at all.
@filipealmeida7301
@filipealmeida7301 10 жыл бұрын
lidia quintana So if I don't want to spend money on you, i'm stingy and cheap. Okay, but if you are not comfortable splitting a bill, what does that make you then? It has nothing to do with the monetary value (Bentley or Sandwich) is what it entails. "Buying affection" is like digging your own hole and it's the quickest way to land yourself in the "friend zone". And ALL (100%) of the alphas that I personally know that are in my social circle "get laid" on a frequent basis without needing to buy a woman's affection just by being INTERESTING MEN. Character is enough to seduce most women. If you are not interested in me because of my personality and presence alone, then i will move on to the next one, simple. It's pointless to try to convince someone to feel attracted to you, which is what all these beta bucks do. "Oh let me take her to a nice 5 star restaurant, so she will see that i'm well off financially and hopefully she will like me back, maybe she will even kiss me in the end of the night!" I honestly do not mind spending money on my girls, but ONLY AFTER they have shown that they are willing to do the same, this is called not being a push over dumb fuck. I treat everyone of my girls, whether its the ones I sleep with or the ones I do not, like good friends. I don't make a distinction between guys/girls when it comes to buying them stuff, or spending money on them, BUT it takes a while to be put into this category. You have to show me that you are willing to treat me nicely as well and that you have to pull your own weight.
@filipealmeida7301
@filipealmeida7301 10 жыл бұрын
Yusiley Sierra First of all, I really don't think you read everything I wrote. Probably just skipped around. I said that the only reason I ask to split bills is when she hasn't proven herself to me, usually when i'm first getting to know her and she means literally nothing, she's just a cute girl that i want to get to know. There is no point in starting off a relationship when you're already leading with your wallet to try to impress her. I am Latino, so yes, I do NOT mind paying for my girls (I don't like old women, doesn't mean they're underage....) but like I said, only after we already like each other for our personalities then I will buy them stuff, but not because they're girls, because I don't mind pleasing my friends. I consider all of them my friends. I don't lie to my girls, as matter of fact, a main point in being alpha is that we never have to lie, I am completely upfront with them, I tell them that I am young and that I am not going to stop seeing/meeting other women because there have been many times that i thought the girl was "THE ONE" and I was backstabbed so until I know for sure she's the girl I want to be with exclusively that's how I choose to live life. If they think it's repulsive, nasty or whatever, they are free to leave and not talk to me anymore, that's completely fine. But guess what? I NEVER LIE TO THEM. They will never "catch me cheating".

Well said. My girlfriend is a fox (seriously, heads turn when we go places and people look at us funny because they probably wonder why she's with me lol), but she's also smart, rational, and independently minded. We treat each other to dates. When we go to a movie I'll usually cover the tickets and she'll get the snacks. Some times she'll pay for my drinks and sometimes I'll pay for hers. It's a tit-for-tat thing. Men owe women jack shit, and the same holds true in reverse. And sometimes just to fuck with people, she'll even hold doors open for me in places where we know will be full of people who hold those arcaine beliefs that men should be showering women with money, like in nice restaraunts and where ever else. And for the women who do think like that, they're never going to find a real man with any substance to him... he certainly won't be assertive. And even if they do, that woman will eventually be dropped when the next bombshell comes across that man's path anyway. This isn't a very hard equation to figure out. Be with someone because you legitmately enjoy their company with or without money and everything else will fall into place.

Why does she keep saying that she wants her daughter to be independent, yet she is teaching her to stay away from "poor" guys. Doesn't that imply that she would be depending on the man for money? Why don't you teach your girl to be the best woman she can be, and get an education so she can make her own money, and than marry someone for love? Just a crazy thought there..

+golddigger0325 I see it like this. When you're cohabiting you need to go half and half on expenses. If I make 5k a month and my husband makes 1.5k odds are we are going to be living in a very small, shitty apartment OR I'm going to be paying for more than just half the expenses. Ideally I want someone on my level so I can afford to pay for nice places to live without having to fully support another human being. So if he isn't willing to work as hard as I did to get on that level why should I be with him? I cannot love someone who chooses to just live off of me. So if I was making good money I would stay away from poor guys, unless they were in school or working on their career. I would probably not get married to them until they were financially secure. For the record, I've been dating a guy for 3 years and started dating him before he even had a job. They have to be working towards something to be taken serious by me.

+The man with no name That was expected even centuries ago. Girls would be groomed by their parents to want to be married. To continue the family genetics. Because it was also expected for the gal to have kids while married. But unlike even two hundred years ago. We don't marry our kids off almost after they have gone thru puberty in most cases. Look at Marie Antoinette. She was married by the time she was 14 years old to the future king(at that time) of France. Even younger was Joan of France (who married King Louis XII in 1476 at the age of 12) was promised to the French throne only eight days after she was born. Although there are laws in place throughout the western world to prevent child marriages, there are still many girls under the age of 16 in unofficial cohabiting relationships even in countries such as the USA and UK. The practice of marrying your offspring off while they were young was started due to mortality rates of both mother and offspring. As well as back then, they were considered to be adults due to them going thru puberty in many ways. -------------------------- Thing is, the habit known as 'tradition' is a hard one to get rid of unfortunately in many cases. Because it is something many folks have grown up with.

Theres nothing wrong in getting married to someone who is financially stable & self sufficient. Money actually CAN buy happiness. Imagine sitting home wihout a job & no source of income. Would you be happy for a day ? The old day adage that "Love" is all that is needed , doesnt hold good at all in today's times. If you have money you can buy stuff you want & live a happy life . Im not against it if parents teach kids to get along with successful, financially stable people. At the same time though, parents must teach their kids the value of hard work & make them stand on their own two feet & teach them the value of money

+Sebastien Addison: the laws of marriage have made it possible for women to marry men and then take a bunch of money from him after divorce. That doesn't mean women are gold digger but it does mean that gold digging women can easily take advantage of men. Its generally safer to marry a woman that makes as much money as you and doesn't stop working because she meets you.

I have people in my family that married for money, won't get into it cause it's personal. However, I learned one crucial thing while it's awesome to have tons of money available to buy whatever you wish.. You will grow to care (maybe not love) the person you married for the money. Eventually that won't be enough because as you age and become more mature, you crave the freedom to fall in love with someone you are truly attracted to, then things fell apart..and in the end you hurt different people in the process including yourself. For me it's always, better have less than a heavy mind full of guilt, which will haunt you for ever. To bad it takes us so long to realize what we really need, by that time we get old. I'm glad someone told me these things while I'm still in my 20's ..sometimes it's hard to make the right choices, but we have to do it ! better for us in the long run.

Just because someone works at a fast food restaurant doesn't mean they don't value a career or having nice things... alot of people come from situations that don't allow them much economic mobility. There's also tons of very smart people who could excel at law, business or medical/dental school but don't have the money to go and don't have access to scholarships or have to drop out of highschool to help their family like I did and then only able to go to a community college or trade program.

Money can buy my happiness. Point.Blank.Period. Y'all can talk all that ish , but the end of the day I live in the ghetto. Y'all don't know what its like to live in poverty. Theres people out here robbing stores for some $1.50 dollar ramyun. And y'all wanna sit here like '' oh thats so shallow'' ... ''thats a bad reason to get married''. I'm sorry , but if he's nice and he has money. Then I'm going to LEARN how to love him , because money can buy MY happiness.

***** Maybe. I think that money come and goes. If you love someone money will never be a problem as you inspire each other and make each other a better person. If you look at people who owns a lot of money they only seem happy to the media, to the people, but inside or when they are away from all attention they are miserable, so why choose miserable rich life when you can have happy and rich life at the same time.

My fience does concrete for his family company and works 16 hours a day 6 days a week and loves his job. He went to collage to be an accountent and quit because he wasn't happy working in an office. he works very hard and long hours but it's something he loves to do he's the most sweetest man I have ever met and he still makes good money doing concrete and I'd rather him do that and be happy then work in an office and make a lot of money and come home sad everyday

9:00 I don't really feel bad for men like this because it is SOOOO easy to tell a gold digger! To say you had no idea is BS. He married her because she was hot and her beauty was more important than her being a gold digger. Her beauty remained but his money didn't. Both are superficial. Simple as that.

The real question is this: WHY are these moms talking to their daughter's about marriage, who to marry and why, when these kids aren't even at the age of even considering a boyfriend? Instead of teaching children to marry someone who has a lot of money, we should be teaching them to grow up to be independent and successful adults. If you're just marrying because the person has a lot of money, than you don't love them as a person, you love what they can give you.

Teach your daughters to never marry a guy who will put there hands on her. teach your kids to be strong hard Independent Women who don't need a guy with a fat wallet to care for them. Teach your kids that it is ok to marry a guy who at least has a job and knows how to handle money the right way. In other words.. does not spend money on crack, booze, or any stupid junk that leaves you and your family pennyless. But never never marry a guy only just for money.

these moms that teach their daughters to marry for money r awful! I agree with the other mom on there teaching her daughter self independence, self worth n self respect!! as a mom I never want my son to grow u relying on his significant other in life to get by, bc well "one day u have the cookie the next u don't!"(I love that analogy) my son is still a baby, he is a ur n a half old but I will always teach him to b independent, to have respect, and know his worth and not let anyone use him for his money 💯 now jumpin to the twit who divorced her husband bc he wasn't rich anymore .... first let me say, that sets an awful example for their daughter! marriage is supposed to bind ppl together until death parts them... hell that's even in classic vows! my husband n I were best friends for a long time, and like her now ex mine helped me financially when I was down, we started dating bc we fell in love, n yeah he's lost his job, had a few since then even n is not working now but awaiting a call from several potential places. we struggle with money n bills sometimes n we go with out things we want but we stick together! we stand by each other n support each other bc that's what husband and wife do!! and want our son to see that, to learn that, that when u marry for love it's stronger then any obstacle. just saying these mfs need a reality check n to get their priorities in line tho fr!!

Money buys happiness, people who say no just haven't found the right store or lifestyle and hobby. Not saying you should be a gold digger but its important to make money and have a partner who does the same. Just my opinion. Love doesn't even exist romantically after 2 years its simply personality partnership.

Jana Roos its not a good statement, most rich people don't kill themselves its just a fact. Poor people have a harder life than rich people, therefore are more likely to do crimes and struggle. Money does make you happy, if it doesn't ur doing nothing with it or your anti-social.

The "social experiment" is so weirdly put together. If you asked most grown women "Would you rather date a man who works on Wallstreet and a man who works at McDonalds?" Most would prefer the former, most women prefer financially stable guys over ones making minimum wage. They should have just started with the second part where they showed one man at a time.
