Alexandra Moussa I can understand your love, passion and past sacrifices of your heritage, keep in mind Chaldeans are ur brothers and sisters (Kald and Arthur were brothers, right ?) Uniting with Chaldeans is the best you can do, who can you trust more, turks, Kurds, shia’a daesh I didn’t think so. Do NOT act on passion alone, gets you nowhere but the slaughterhouse like what king Ghazi did in the 1930’s, the Kurds ,etc a turbulent history to say the least. Chaldeans have the numbers, the socioeconomic status, established and strong based communities worldwide, rest assured something is drastic coming soon, as the pope is planning to visit Iraq again in under 2 years, keep in mind we share the same proud culture, we gifted the world with knowledge, w3 started civilizations , even the same food, alphabet, spoken and written language and the list is endless, we just need to set aside “church politics” and it almost happened in 1998 , much love and respect to our Assyrian brothers and sisters ✌🏾

@@jantoma4451 What's the difference? The people in this video are Chaldo-Assyrians from the town of Alqosh. This is my village. Do you know where Alqosh is located at? We are Indigenous to Upper Mesopotamia aka Assyria. We have nothing to do with the Ancient Chaldeans, who were a nomadic & weren't even Mesopotamian. Ancient Chaldeans came from the Levant region and settled in the SOUTH of Mesopotamia and were later absorbed and ceased to exist. Do not confuse that ancient gypsy tribe with modern Chaldean Catholics who are ethnic Assyrians and are natives of the Assyrian homeland, which today is a part of North Iraq, Southeastern Turkey, North-Syria and North-west Iran. The ''Chaldean'' name was used to describe Assyrians that were associated with Rome. Search up the Church of the East Schism of 1552. Our church was previously known as 'Church of Assyria and Mosul' and the ''Chaldean'' misnomer was only added in 1830. We've also always called ourselves Suraye and this word stems from 'Assurayu/Ashuraye'!

the dance kind of reminds me of the Turkish way of dancing where they squat and as they jump they lift their legs whilst being in a 'huddle'

I understand that these dances remind you of "Turkish" dances but it is the Turks who stole this culture from the Kurds, Armenians and Assyrians. The Turks are originally from Central Asia they have nothing to do with this culture of "dabke"
