Muncie 17-year-old mom accused of burning her baby with lighters while friends recorded

the officer said one showed him a video of a 17-year-old repeatedly holding a lit lighter to her daughter's hand as another girl sprayed perfume to accelerate the flame. The police report also states the 17-year-old would lock the little girl in her room by herself while she would leave the house to have sex. Now, the prosecutor wants to waive the young mom to adult court.

My husband's daughter has had her kids taken 5 times. She had gotten them back 12/2023 and taken again just two weeks ago... I do not understand the system. Depending on why kids were removed, give a second chance. After that, they should never see them again. If taken for severe abuse/neglect, no second chances should be given!
