Evening guys. Great video as always and I really enjoy when you film a bit of process of brewing the kits. Thers's something brilliantly simple about tin kit production rather than 4 hours of all-grain brewing. Keep up the great work and as usual, I'm looking forward to your next edition. Cheers

If you're not familiar with Kolsch, it comes from Cologne in Germany and is an ale which could be mistaken for a lager. A true Kolsch is served fresh in 250 ml glasses. In a bar in Cologne every time your glass is empty it will be replaced with a fresh one until you place a beer mat on top of your glass.🍻

Can find 'Fruh' Kolsch in some Morrisons, red and white label... quite like the style myself.

I remember drinking kolsch in brauhaus sion just off the centre of cologne. Where they also sold sausage by the centimetre!

Not sure if i cocked up my Muntons Kolsch but wasnt impressed. May have got a little oxidised though. Love the extra content your doing, when you did the grainfather s40 was a massive help to me. Cheers guys

I just made the Kolsch, and it is very dark. I added some honey and zest notes, and it's basically come out tasting like Doombar

Great vid guys, keep up the good work. Just done the Muntons' Kölsch kit and wasn't that impressed with it. Mind you, to be fair I'm not really familiar with Kölsch and was probably expecting more of a Pilsner. Also I'm a big fan of their Flagship kits ,so probably had the bar set a bit too high for this one.

Did the summer ale too got to say worst kit I have done so far and agree got a very metallic taste thought I had cocked up. But glad to see you too had same result.keep up the good reviews

Dark Rock just keeps smashing it out of the park with there one tins kits. Between them and Mangrove Jacks cider kits, I have no desire to even try anything else right now

Hi, with respect to the Mangrove Cider kits , I'm not a Fan of the Dry Blackthorn cider taste, and prefer the Strongbow taste.. Is there a Cider kit that has a similar taste to Strongbow. When you read the blurb on the kits they say its a west coast cider .. Many Thanks in any help Yours Andy Mac ..

@@andymacpherson7424 sorry I don't know of any, Mangrove Jacks was my 1st cider kit, and I simply have had no desire to even try anything else. Good luck in your search, I'm sure there's something out there for you

Ive done all the connoiseurs kits, bland the lot of them, I had a dozen pints of the summer , the rest went down the sink, not worth the money
