Was there any 'tropical' in that porter, or a mis-print, do we think? Those fresh wort kits aren't far off the price of some pre-boxed grain kits, gonna have to give them a try. Look forward to seeing the 'brew room' when it gets done, at the moment I'm brewing in a shed, washing the gear up with the hose pipe in the garden - no fun this time of year. As you didn't read the pack on the hazy, did you make it to 23 l or 18 l . The 6.8 ABV is for 18 l. It does sound very good though. 🍻

That was a mix of beers that first one can’t be £9 a can. That’s an expensive bit for the hand pull. My all in one has been melting the plug. Put a heavy duty plug on it and a waterproof connector to a cable. No idea what happened as been brewing on it for over 4 years with no problems and today with the mod the brew day went without a hitch. Hope you get to the bottom of it. Entertaining as always cheers lads 👍🍻

Some strong ones this time lads ;) reminds me of the time when drunk me did some kit ordering, and sober me opened the box a few days later and wondered what the heck had arrived 🤣🤣 have been eyeing up that porter... I feel it's on the list for next time. I think with the first one, the mash getting gummed up has hit the efficiency, so you haven't got the best out of the malts; thin body, low abv... the hops need that body to balance against so no wonder if tastes harsh. If I recall correctly, you don't worry about hydrometer readings so won't be sure whether the start gravity was anywhere near the target. Sorry to hear about the BrewDevil 😥😥

Hey Fellas, glad you enjoyed most of the brews - Riddle of The Sphynx is a tricky one and the stuck mash will not have adided you in the glass - might be worth tyring it again one day but using plenty of filtration aids. The others looked great and soudn like you enjoyed brewing and drinking them. Good luck trying to fix the brewing syetem!

Nice video once again lads, well done. Just a thought, maybe have the end of year awards in mid-November, thus giving time for our other half's to order the kits as Christmas pressies for us home-brewers. All good wishes for the festive season-cheers!

Another cracking video. I’ve hit some stumbling blocks with my brewing lately. Finding time and my cock-ups. So moved back to part grain and kind of got my groove back. It’s reassuring to see even the best of us have issues with their brew days! Hopefully enjoying a pint of bathams this weekend. Looking forward to it after one of your reviews!

Ok, folks - still early days in conditioning, but I've sampled the Festival Woodland Citra. Bottled only about 10 days ago..... Honest opinion - even though I should probably leave it for another couple of weeks, it tastes AMAZING already! I don't know what happened with the Partridge brew, but honestly this kit is great - I'm hoping to get more, as it's likely to be my new fave brew. It's low on carbonation, and still a bit hazy, but that's to be expected. I can't see many of my bottles lasting too long, and would happily drink it the way it is right now - It can only improve. You guys need to try it again - and do another review. 0/10 and calling it "awful, not nice" certainly wouldn't be my opinion - it's great - I'm definitely getting more of this one and would recommend it! 10/10!

The citra I made was fantastic. Sorry fellas, you’ve infected a batch and blamed the kit. Fair enough, if it’s not to your taste, it’s not for you but that reaction clearly shows an issue and surprised didn’t come to that conclusion. Hope you try it again in the interest of fairness.
