Hi guys yes it’s definitely the oils used in the making of the fermenter they need to be scrubbed clean first as already mentioned then rinsed and sanitised. 🍺🍺👍
@beerkitreviewspartridge10833 ай бұрын
@PaulSmith-hc5rs no mention having to to do that on any of the packaging,not only that ,I've kegged a beer that's not been one of them fermenters and it's still gloopy,I think darkfarm have a problem, I've contacted them waiting for reply

Excellent as always. I think I’ll be trying the Riwaka. Happy brewing from your neighbour in Newark.

2 for me..... what it's a 10.... I almost swore...... yep that's the true beauty of beer and brewing right there....

I brewed the Riwaka after you recommended it last time and it's a really nice beer. (I don't even like that style normally!) Dark Rock have some great all grain kits. Maybe you should try brewing the Old Peculier clone? It really is brilliant although I appreciate you aren't that into dark ales!

I'm guessing you bought the Mangrove Jack's stainless fermenters... If so great bit of kit they are!. But... They need scrubbing with neat washing up liquid to get rid of the oil used for forming the fermenter. Once that is done flush with hot water.... Then use no rinse sanitiser... Will run perfect every time! Love watching the videos you do. Happy brewing! 🍺👍

Hi Dave ! Can you please show us on a video how you transfer your beer from fermenter to your kegs/barrels ? I just want to see how you do it. Cheers 🍻

Dark lager... if you ever find yourselves in Czech Republic, dark lagers are a thing there and rather nice they are too. I think that's where this kit is headed. Try and get hold of Budvar Tmavý, and compare. Beers of Europe down at King's Lynn had it in last time I visited.

Superb video! Ive just had to to tip two brews this week, im still pretty new to this hobby but throwing beer away is becoming painful, ive had more failures than success since ive started 😢 Anyway, Dark Rock is my go to, ill try the Riwaka (?) next and im very much looking forward to the next videos 1 tin stout head to head, and ive been looking at both of those, heard great things about coopers irish stout. And there European Lager i brewed went down superbly with my lager drinking friends, hell even i quite liked it and i dont drink lager usually

You may need to passivate the stainless steel fermenters if you haven't already , just makes them ready for action.
@beerkitreviewspartridge10833 ай бұрын
Passivate?
@BassRTA843 ай бұрын
Passivate is to reseal stainless steel, to prevent rust.. Wouldn't have thought it would have anything to do with the change in viscosity they had 🤔
