Haken (pronounced like Bacon) is Love. Haken is Life. To fully appreciate this song, you have to listen to the full length version. The song is about people who take advantage of other people who are susceptible to being manipulated. This song had so much success they made a 2 album concept about a doctor known as the cockroach king.

What's funny is on a technical level, for Haken this song is pretty simple for them, if you're not used to Haken oh yeah this song is wild lol. Songs like Nightingale exist which are insane technically

Love that you enjoyed it! If you'd like to listen to some heavier Haken songs I'd recommend Puzzle Box, it's one of my personal favorites. If you have the stomach for a 23 minute long adventure then go for Visions. It's their absolute masterpiece.

They are a great prog band. Not usually this silly. Great live also. My only criticism with Haken is the vocals are not as strong as I prefer, just doesn't have much power.
