I’m just heartbroken over this horrible murder. I worked with Wayne Anderson when he lived in California. He was a wonderful friend, extremely caring about his family. Judy was also a fantastic friend and excellent Mother and Wife. Just before I left there for another job, Wayne told me Judy was pregnant. I can’t tell you how excited he was over this baby because there are no words to describe it. He was over the moon. He also wanted a little girl. I loved hearing him talk about his new baby. I lost track of Wayne and Judy but did stay in touch with other friends and still do, nearly 50 years later. I knew he had moved to Washington and worked at Boeing. Just a few years ago, while having lunch with some of my California friends, I found out what happened to Wayne and his family. I was horrified. I couldn’t imagine his little girl killing them all. The daughter he couldn’t wait to have and loved with all his heart did this. All I can say is I hope she knows that she killed the man that loved her more than any man on earth ever could. I grew up with a father who had no use for me except to use as a punching bag when he was drunk. I still cry when I think about how much love her father had for her and she threw it away.

They would be so sued, and also probably fired. The probable cause has to be acute, it can't just be "oh I got a weird call and had a weird feeling" because no judge is gonna sign off on breaking the lock of a gate on private property for that. @@IdahoRanchGirl you're focusing too much on the sex aspect lol, just any scream with no callback and a closed property, they would be risking their jobs breaking onto that property. Even when they have access to a property they have to wait for a warrant, which won't get approved by a judge for a weird call and a scream. It's unfortunate that people do die because the system works this way, but the other side of it is like that innocent woman who was shot in her bed because the cops raided the wrong house. We need these laws in place that keep cops from accessing our property without explicit permission because it does ultimately keep people safe and avoids false allegations. The downside is situations like this, where a locked gate keeps someone from getting help, but changing it would end in a lot more bloodshed and incarceration.

It’s a sad and important thing to remember - when a person is murdered, it’s usually by someone in their own family, or a spouse, former spouse, someone they were dating or had dated, a “friend” or a business partner. The world is not full of random dangers despite what some people pretend

“And she’s my best friend” man… man.. For some reason I pictured my mom coming upon a scene of her best ex coworker/best friend. Horrific. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. My best friend is genuinely like a sister to me. We are family and it’s just “different”. It FEELS like our families are related. I love her, her mom, and her kids so much and they feel more like family than some of my own blood relatives do. I always say if people can marry into a family, what’s the difference between just deciding to be family? I love my best friend and this would just be something I couldn’t fathom.

I live in Carnation. It was originally called "Tolt" when it was first founded, but then changed to "Carnation" once the Carnation Milk Company moved into town. It's a loving farm community where everyone knows everyone. If you ever needed a hand with something, there's always someone there to help. We're mostly known for, not only Carnation Milk, but also Remlinger Farms, and our annual 4th of July Parades. This is the one incident we'd never let define our town, and most of us would rather forget that it happened. I was 16 when it happened, and it was surreal knowing that something as twisted as this could happen just a few miles from my neighborhood. Judy Anderson was very well liked in the community, and her absence was definitely felt. Their deaths were incredibly senseless, and the perpetrators responsible for their said deaths are monsters (plain and simple). Knowing that one of the killers was their own daughter/sister/aunt makes it even more sickening. In terms of their sentencing: it was the appropriate one. They deserve to spend the rest of their lives behind bars knowing they took 6 innocent lives, and ruined their own. Giving them the death penalty would've been WAY too easy of a way out. Anyway, I just wanted to share my perspective. Thanks for covering this.

For what it's worth, I've heard ex cons say that life in prison without the possibility of parole is worse than a death sentence. It's actually a very slow agonizing death in a sense. Although if you believe in God and justice in the next life, anything is better than being cast into hell.
@BeRightBack131 Жыл бұрын
I agree. They should have been sentenced to death. I personally think the sentence should also be carried out by 1) electric chair, 2) gas chamber, 3) hanging, 4) firing squad. I really don't think lethal injection is a severe enough punishment for most cases. After all, most perpetrators killed their victims in especially brutal and heinous ways, such as these 2 did. Unless the state is willing to inflict upon the perpetrator the EXACT same manner of death (ie stabbing the perpetrator if the perpetrator stabbed their victim), the very least we could do is give a similarly brutal execution.
@BeRightBack131 Жыл бұрын
@@LM-hb6ynI think it probably depends on the person. I've heard that Jodi Arias, Chris Watts, and a few others report that they're very happy in prison. Jodi is like the superstar, everyone loves her, she produces art or jewelry or something like that, which she sells for commissary funding. Chris Watts is reportedly very relaxed and content, he gets to have pictures of his girls and wife (victims) plastered all over his cell, and receives insane amounts of fan mail and marriage proposals, which apparently makes him extremely happy. Doesn't sound like they're having such a terrible time...

If you want the "slowest death penalty", then that is life in prison. They are going to die anyway, there is no escaping that. Why not let them suffer for many decades living in a small prison cell before their inevitable death comes? Death penalty is just a quick way out of their suffering.

The fact that the Jury did not vote for the death penalty in Michelle's trial may be a more fitting punishment for her as she expressed a desire to be put to death. Most likely, she could not commit suicide for some reason. She may have wanted to die, but could not do it herself, so wished for the state to do it for her. By not voting for the death penalty, Michelle's actually received a harsher punishment.

The surviving daughter and other family of the victims should be awarded a settlement from the police department. If they'd gone to the residence, they might have saved at least one of the victims.
