My mother was the 8 year old child in the home, I thank nothing but God that the murderers didn't intrude the home and harm her. I am truly sad that this happened because I never got to meet Thelma, nor Pam. My mother always talked about this story and It made me feel some type of way. What was the purpose of this? My mother truly misses them. I wish I could've met them.

It’s crazy to think that this happened in my hometown 30 years before I was born.

I grew up on that same street less than a half mile away, my aunt was friends with Pam. I was 8 years old when this happened. It was rather unsettling, I remember my mom, aunt, and grandma being very upset.

Did they ever solve the murders? We moved from Griffin a year after this happened.

No one was ever charged. A detective who is no longer living, told me they knew who the killer was and that he was in prison on other charges for a long time. He did not tell me the name.
