Murray Explorer gets a 212

Engine swap on a Murray explorer is so easy.
I'm putting a predator 212cc, on the Murray in place of the Tecumseh.
Then we test drive before we sell it to a local guy for cheap.

Hi guys, I stay tuned to yall every chance I get, cause I am currently in the middle of rebuilding a Murray Hard Drive. I definitely don't want to leave it stock, being an old dirt racer I got to have a hot rod. I mainly will be off road throwing dirt somewhere. It has a 6 horse Tecumseh on it that runs fine if u want to grocery shop in it. I'm thinking more like a good bike engine/tranny for fun! Any ideas on this kart and my 1st kart project will be much appreciated..

the explorer i have has a 212 as well, and it still runs and rides but it has seen better days. also it doesnt have brake pade on it.

What size belt does it take I just got one that needs a belt but the 30 series don’t fit

I got the same kart and installed the same engine but after install the chain got loose do you know how to tighten the chain

my grandpa gave me my mom and uncles old murray explorer i need to restore it. im trying to figure out whether i could use a predator 420 intead also it originaly comes with a chain (also prayin theres no rust and the brakes are still good) tires are trash though :/

Before you sell it can you PLEASE do a video on how the brake are set up. I have the same model and the entire brake system was removed and I don't have a welder or know anyone who does so I need the stock brake set up???? If you could I would greatly appreciate that!!!!!

I dont have a part #. I order them from ebay. Search 61" manco throttle cable.
