Cheers @@Bergo101 🍻 Honestly it’s probably the perfect vehicle for touring around Australia in my opinion. You can do so much with them, personally if I was going to tour for a year or so I’d get a roof top conversions done. Comfort depends on which model you purchase. Coil fronts will help with the ride, can put parabolics in the back for improved ride. I can’t comment on the ride to much as it’s an old 75 series, put I have parabolic’s all round, remote res shocks and aftermarket seats, but no sway bar so it flexes better on the tracks but makes it a bit of a boat in the open roads. What year you looking at purchasing Bergo?

Does your troopy have diff lockers? I'd love to explore the VHC in my 75 series troopy but am worried it won't be able to hack it with open diffs.

@@Tommy-m4s mine is locked front and rear Tommy, but I only really lock them in when I’m confronted with a extremely difficult section, and when solo… which is most times I guess. The Troopys are geared well mate, nice and low, just need to pick your line and they will pretty much go anywhere. Cheers mate 🍻

Interesting that people are afraid of losing their freedom with a national park, and your pushing against it too a but looking at what you did in this episode (free camped, fished, 4wd) all within a NP, looks pretty good to me!
@aguyandhistroopyАй бұрын
@@beardmoto it’s not that we are afraid of losing our freedom in the National Parks, it’s more what we will lose if the State Forests becomes NP’s. Eg… no firewood collection, no dogs, no hunting, no prospecting, no horses, restricted tracks, more gates, and one big tinder box on our back door step. That’s our biggest issues, VIc Gov cut the NP’s Vic work force by 100 or so ground workers who are all regional, now cut 70 mil from the CFA, guessing you no what that stands for? So with no logging in Vic any more it’s looking like it’s going to be a bad year, if not this one we’ll watch out for the next one. That’s the main reasons we don’t want more NP’s, as they can’t maintain what they already have! Hope that all makes sense mate? Thanks for watching and taking the time out to comment 👍🏼

All youve got to do is see what the NSW governments have done with the same. Why is Kosciuszko NP almost double the price to enter for an annual pass? Or just for a day trip? They have so much more control and generate more revenue if a NP and take away so many freedoms. In addition to that, there's clauses they must give a % of land to Aboriginal Land Council each year. There's more than meets the eye deep down

@@aguyandhistroopy regarding the restrictions in NP, a lot of the ‘against NP’ folk are also claiming camping, 4wding, fishing (comes under hunting really), along with what you’ve mentioned will be restricted. I beg to differ on these topics as your vid clearly shows yourself enjoying these activities all within the alpine NP. I do agree on your concerns of future fire management though. Not sure on what the correct answer is tbh.

Australia used to be good to camp, but every god damn place you go there's other people now Damn shame
@aguyandhistroopyАй бұрын
@@666dualsport I don’t reckon I’d rather live anywhere else in the world… yes it can get busy, but the more remote - harder you go the less people are there. Sometimes you just got to take the good with the bad… few beers and a laugh around the fire is normally the means of a good night in my opinion. Thanks for watching and for taking the time to drop a comment mate ! 👍🏼
