The important thing about this penalty is that Jake Coker was chased out of bounds and hit, and slid on Auburn’s magical watered/not watered field, so Auburn drew a late-hit-out-of-bounds penalty. When the official ran over to throw the flag, he slipped and went literally feet up in the air, head down, and came down on his neck and shoulder, a very very dangerous injury for a middle-aged only semi-athletic dude. So Muschamp is screaming obscenities at the officiating crew who just saw one of their teammates get injured throwing a flag on an Auburn player, but the injury was due to Auburn’s shenanigans with watering the field; so they were in ill humor to be on the receiving end of Muschamp’s hateful screaming (and let’s be 100% clear, if you’ve seen Muschamp’s facial expressions during his foul-language tirades, you know it’s not anger, it’s hatred, and there’s a big difference). Moreover, he kept running out on the field for the next full play, and honestly should have been flagged and ejected…but that is another story.

I'm a big Tide fan and was living in AL during all this mess. Comments below that "many coaches including Saban are yellers." Hello.......Saban is full of fire but he's won multiple national championships and Muschamp is nowhere in the same league as Saban. Muschamp acts like he's lost his mind on the sidelines at whatever SEC head coach where he's at. His anger issues have followed him to every school where he' coached in the past decade, if not longer. It's not "passion" as some comments below, but he's got a huge anger problem. I've commented to others during the games "to look at his eyes" when he's a raging bull. It's like he's lost his mind. A huge liability. It's a matter of time when he crosses over the line. You can fill in the blanks.

+boo843348 South Carolina interviewed Willie Taggart. A few years ago a lot of South Carolina fans wanted Kevin Sumlin after Spurrier was to retire. A lot of fans were anticipating going after Charlie Strong while he was struggling at Texas midseason. But overall, it just didn't work out and not a lot of hot name black coaches that are willing to leave their jobs at the moment.
@Pookie_Poo8439 жыл бұрын
thats Bull ish....The willie taggart interview was a prop. if it wasnt, they wouldve hired him because his credentials as a Head coach are much much more better than muschump, Not to mention Dino babers, charlie strong, James franklin. All these guys have great proven success. Do you think Muschamp wouldve been hired if he was black???????
@nsmitty80559 жыл бұрын
+boo843348 Absolutely, without a doubt they would have hired Muschamp if he was black. Willie doesn't have SEC coaching experience, plus, South Carolina was looking for a defensive minded coach. James Franklin is coaching in his home state where he grew up and played college ball. Would be hard to lure him from there. Charlie was a consideration, but he makes over 5 Million a year in one of the best coaching jobs (along with Florida) in the United States. I would loved to have had Charlie though.
@Pookie_Poo8439 жыл бұрын
I respect your optimism, but i know better. And you do too. And what does SEC experience has to do with anything?? See thats the excuses that come up as it relates to a black coach. Muschamp has it but with a 28-21 overall record. Now if muschamp was black, the excuse wouldve been that he wasnt proven....SMH....
@nsmitty80559 жыл бұрын
+boo843348 It's hard to find an exact definition for "SEC experience", but it's just that. You need to know the areas you're recruiting (The Southeast, the "hotbed" for elite recruits) and have the SEC tenacity, football 24/7 mentality. It's an intangible. Hell, even the university presidents play a large part in SEC schools football decisions. It's a "football culture". But unfortunately in it's culture, only a handful of schools in the conference have had black coaches. That will change with time. Luckily, for South Carolina's sake, we have a great roster of coaches from diverse backgrounds from Frank Martin, to Dawn Staley, Curtis Frye and all the way to the status quo white coach in Will Muschamp. Hiring a coach is a dizzying, complicated process for AD's and they don't focus on color, or hopefully, they don't. And with that said, the best available candidate that matched what South Carolina needed just so happened to be white. It would be good to know who all Ray Tanner reached out to, though. As Willie Taggart is the only African American that comes to mind who was interviewed for the position.
