The arm region is comprised of many powerful muscles responsible for movements of the upper limb. Now that you've learned them, you're ready to tackle this knowledge on our quiz: khub.me/zr6rr
Oh, are you struggling with learning anatomy? We got the ★ Ultimate Anatomy Study Guide ★ to help you kick some gluteus maximus in any topic. Completely free. Download yours today: khub.me/t7yro
In this video tutorial, we’re going to be talking about the muscles of the arm. These muscles play various roles in the movements of the upper limb. They are mainly involved in movements of the shoulder joint and elbow.
There are many muscles found in the upper extremity. According to their position and also location within the upper limb, we can find 3 big groups of muscles. At the most distal end of the upper limb, you can find the muscles of the hand, responsible for various movements of the hand and wrist. A bit further up, you will then see the muscles defining the forearm. And you can find the muscles that we’re going to be talking about on this tutorial at the most proximal end of the upper limb, and these are the arm muscles.
We're going to be discussing the origins, insertions and innervation of the following muscles:
2:05 Biceps brachii: including its long and short heads.
5:43 Triceps brachii: including its lateral, medial and long heads.
10:21 Brachialis
13:09 Anconeus
Want to test your knowledge on the muscles of the arm? Take this quiz: khub.me/zr6rr

I keep getting pain in my left wrist, forearm and arm after working out at the gym, also I work in IT and cycle often too. I'm thinking it is the ulnar nerve, the pain is in the ulnar zone of the wrist, the annular ligament area of the inner elbow, and about the mid-region of the biceps, Not all at once but generally in these areas. I could be doing something wrong at the gym, but it only seems to bother my left arm. Any ideas?
