Does not going the full range of motion apply to only advanced lifters that have their muscles already developed? Or is it also good for beginner/intermediate lifters like myself?
@Spychu19936 жыл бұрын
Nah, go full motion. I guess Vic is not doing full rom because of his past knee injury
@muscleman43706 жыл бұрын
Russell Supertramp although a full rom is preferred, not everyones full rom is the same. It depends on factors such as limb length(long arms/short arms), joint flexibility, muscles, tendons, ligaments, age, gender and genetics just to name a few. You have to discover what is YOUR individual ROMs for a given exercise. Touching a barbell to your chest during bench presses may work for one person, yet cause serious injury to another persons shoulder joints. And yes, both are still using proper formduring the exercise. Learn the correct form for an exercise, but then adapt it to your structure, build, body/joint type. Most of all, NEVER let someone else tell you that your using the incorrect ROM for your specific body!

Hey Victor do you recommend doing legs everyday??
@MikePulcinellaVideo6 жыл бұрын
I can't speak for Vic (even though I made the video and know him somewhat well) but most bodybuilders will agree that if you do legs the way you are supposed to you CAN'T do them the next. Or the day after that. Or after that.

Nii Narku if you do legs everyday then you’re clearly not doing legs correctly lol. Doing legs the proper way you shouldn’t be able to walk for 2-3 days and sore up until the next leg day

People are still talking bad about half reps? Lol I guess you guys don’t understand why you would use half reps. It’s better than full range of motion for muscle growth, especially in the legs but whatever bandwagon social media kids can’t think past what another person says.

Wow his entire workout crew have some kind of weird ROM issue. I dont lock out at the top but I try to go as low as possible at the bottom. Its not the lock out its the bottom that is critical. I am sorry but this workout is not impressive and I am not talking about the amount of weight lifted but the range of motion and the intensity. Too much bullshitting around. Workouts are not suppose to be fun. Yes I have fun but its still pretty brutal.

He goes heavy but his ROM on leg press is not too great. I would suggest moving his feet up a little and going down to where at least your upper things tap your waist. I do this and I dont have any issues at all. No doubt he does way way too many sets.

He's right. The deeper you go, the more muscle fibers you hit. You won't fuck up your back or knees as long as you use manageable weights. It's not about the weight. It's about the feel and tension on the muscle.

it actually does help you focus more on the mind muscle connection part. I need to start doing these more than back squats to grow them stupid quads

Le0 when I started actually squating, like learning how to actually do it correctly. And when I gained the flexibility to squat below parallel , and got over the ego lifting thing. I got bigger and stronger. I cant tell u how many clowns put 315 on a bar and go less than half way down and think they are getting a savage workout. There just wasting there time. You would think the complete lack of results would cue them.
@lionheart936 жыл бұрын
Very true. What exactly did you change? Curious because my legs need a lot of improvement
@tnm1406 жыл бұрын
Le0 I learned proper cues, set up, posistion... technique I guess. Then gained the flexibility to squat ass to grass. Then lowered the weight and did proper reps.
