There's a couple of other recordings where Matt screams like that (Osaka 2000) but this version is definitely the best. Wonder why they didn't keep the screams, maybe it'd fuck up his voice. These days, on the rare occasion that they play it, Chris sings the chorus (check LA 2015), he does a pretty good job but it's nothing like this performance.

i agree, it really more energetic and raw passionated the interpretations to the japanese concerts, i really liked this version more. You just have to look the huge difference between the energy put in the japanese stage vs the seul stage.

@grandiaguy One thing you should know (if you don't indeed :) ) That when Matthew Bellamy sings like that on Hyper Music, he's just ruining his voice =/ specially at the chorus. But I agree when you say they can make songs with a younger energy, more intensive.

The performances they did for Aus TV around this time had a huge impact on me. Had 'Muscle Museum' from the 10:30 slot on a VHS taped off the telly and watched it dozens of times :)

I couldn't imagine what would happen to his voice if he still screamed like that every time it was played. Then again, it's Matt Bellamy. Considering events such as the Bizzare Music Festival, I doubt having his vocal chords removed could cause him to lose his voice.
