Good to hear you started to meditate its better late then never. When you learn to get out of beta and move into alpha and theta on comand. That is where true human power is located.

Thank you for the review. I still don’t struggle to find any use for sleep tracking. The only use that I see is if it wakes me up when I’m out of a deep sleep cycle . Does it do that ?

Are you talking about sleep tracking (passive) or a smart alarm that wakes you up when you’re in light sleep (as opposed to deep sleep)? I don’t think Muse S has a vibration alarm.

@@MichaelKummer well …this is the only feature that I would have been a deal maker for me . I cannot imagine why they don’t have this feature . I also fail to see the use of the sleep tracking . I can pretty much say/feel if I got a good sleep , the point is to enhance it 🤷🏻‍♂️ I have experience only with the very first model so far which worked pretty well for me . The brainwaves , the birds …is just elegant and perfect . The rest feels like a marketing squeeze for me. Plus I completely support your remark upon having a Bluetooth device hooked to your head every night . Thanks again !

@@WichitaTV While I usually know how I slept just based on how I feel, I still find sleep tracking useful because it helps me figure out how certain lifestyle choices influence how much time I spend in deep and REM sleep. But I use WHOOP (and not Muse S) for that. WHOOP also has a smart alarm but I don't use it since I wake up when I'm done sleeping. See michaelkummer.com/health/whoop-strap-review/

@@MichaelKummer I see your point . It’s an overpriced nobrainer personally for me . I had an app on my old android . You just put the phone next to your pillow and will pretty much do the same based on vibrations, sounds and movements and would wake you up within a certain timeframe . I don’t know of it was placebo but it definitely worked for me. Well never the less again - the rest of the muse product is more than useful . I never thought that I suck so much at keeping my head clear. The feedback really gave me real control . Again thank you for your reply and your review 🙏

Anyone know of any detriment to bluetooth EMF frequency exposure? Close to the head like this is one of the worst places for this kind of thing I would have thought! 😮

I don’t recommend exposing yourself to BT for extended periods, especially not close to your head. It’s probably fine for a meditation session but I wouldn’t wear Muse S for sleep tracking every night.

@Michael Kummer interesting, why not though? Are there any detrimental effects? Surely these would be banned if they were? Just playing devils advocate to get some info. Samsung say to keep their phones 20cm away from any body part. But that is for microwave isnt it 🤔. Any refs on BT?

I've just ordered one. Hoping to see how it works with me as I'm a THC and CBD user. I haven't dreamt in years so will be interesting to see how a stoner's brain works lol

If you haven’t dreamt in while you should so try trs heavy metal detox by coseva. 5 sprays 2 hrs before bed and have the most vivid effing dreams ever
