Ok I was writing a comment and the video ended and my message disappeared. If it shows up twice, sorry. If you buy one of Redd's pieces on Harv's island, he will replace it with another piece the next day. You will end up with duplicates and fake pieces but it keeps his stock rotating. Dagnel did a Museum Speed-Run video which may be helpful. A couple of tips were about which pieces to buy from Redd: if an authentic piece is offered that has a fake version, buy that one. That one will be less likely to appear than a piece that is always authentic. Also, if you are choosing between an authentic statue and painting, take the statue. They appear less often.
