I remember the day I heard that Jeff had died. I was in a record store in Auckland NZ and a customer and an employee were talking about it. As a young drummer myself and huge fan of his, I was shocked and simply couldn't believe it. When the employee saw my face, he asked it I was all right and I said "No I'm not. He was my hero". I remember walking home in stunned disbelief. It had a profound effect on me and as I think back on that day many years ago, I still feel my eyes welling up. There will never be another Jeff...

The ghost stroke occurs on the snare on the “i” just after the beat 3 backbeat. In the fourth bar the sticking is pretty much the same, but the PARADIDDLEDIDDLE is played between the toms and the snare drum (2° Tom-1°Tom-Floor Tom-Floor Tom-Snare-Snare, the last stroke is a ghost note).
