DUDE! This tutorial is AMAZING! it helped me out so much and was very fun to create side by side with you. If i can mention a bit critique, youre a way too fast for me. i just started out with blender and there is so much "usual and common" things for you but i dont understand why. It realy sucks to play it with 0.75 speed so i had to pause every 15 seconds. But still i enjoyed it very much and my result ist totally fine for the first try. you have my subscribe and like on both videos. Greetings from germany!

I also finished this. Thanks to an excellent teacher. Just one question, after compositing and I found something that I didn't like so I went back to edit and re-rendered. In compositing, it doesnt reflect the changes and I don't know how to RESET compositing section or reapply the new rendered image to the existing nodes. Any tips?

Hmm, make sure you add a viewer node, and plug it into the final nodes. Then the background in the compositor should update.

When I try to move the UVs for the top of the cap to get rid of the underpainting, it won't detach from the rest of the mesh and large parts of it stretch over... :(

Hmm, if you only select the top part, then it should be separate. You could also try pressing V, to rip the edges. That should separate it.

How do these circles become so smooth on your cap man ? On mine they get distorted ,like one point of the circle just goes forward and others to the side and doesn't look like a circle at all unless I carefully position it and even then its a bit janky. Could be because I decimated my shroom too much

Hmm, my guess is that something is wrong with the modifiers. Check the modifiers on the circle objects, and make sure they are the same as mine.

@@RyanKingArt Yeah I was mainly concerned that it won't have a link to the textures since they weren't going to be with the main file. I did a test and just put them in a new folder and once I opened it only the ones that I painted were there ,so I packed them together with the main file

im having a bit of a problem with the texture painting, ive followed all the steps but for some reason the texture paint tool only fills the entire surface, all my settings are the same as yours, and my tablet is working fine, but its just acting as if its a paint bucket tool, its really odd

Hmm, it might be because the UV unwrapping is messed up. maybe try Re-UV unwrapping the mesh, like how I did in the tutorial, and try it again.

Did you know you can press the "S" key as an eyedropper to select a certain color from your object?

How do you use it?

@@RyanKingArt When you are texture painting, you can hover over an area that has the color you want and press "S", and that will change the color of your brush to that color. I found this out from this post: blender.stackexchange.com/questions/29259/is-there-colour-picker-in-texture-paint-mode (at the very bottom)
