How good are aspen boletes? In my book they are 3/5 stars so I never bothered seeking them out.
@LukesMushrooms2 жыл бұрын
For me it's hard to say but here they are valued almost as much as ceps, or even more by some people.

Please cut the bottoms (leave them in the ground) because then they can grow back. You found a lot of great mushrooms and if you want to cut them when in the ground you can get them the year after as well
@LukesMushrooms2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the suggestions but it is actually not true. I recommend to search for some modern studies / information about mushrooms. Also mushrooms don't grow just once a year. Even if I don't cut them, they usually appear at the same spot again in 1-2 weeks if the weather is good.

@@LukesMushrooms thanks for the info😊 Didn't know that
@linneaadsersen17272 жыл бұрын
@@massimovanbeylen the actual mushroom mycelium is under the ground. The mushrooms we pick does not affect the mycelium. Think of it as an apple tree; it’s the tree that produces the apples and if you pick the apples the tree will still produce more☺️

Ahoj Luke, kde bereš ty houby? Jaké místo v ČR?
@LukesMushrooms2 жыл бұрын
Ahoj. Presne miesto si samozrejme necham pre seba, naviac toto video je zo Slovenska. Ale v CR chodim najradsej na Liberecko, Mladoboleslavsko, Nymbursko alebo v okoli Prahy. Obcas aj inde. Podla sezony a pocasia.

No, there is no orange birch bolete in this video. But there is a similar one. You can check the video description to see what species I picked.

Where do you find so many mushrooms in such a short period of time? I have been trying for 2 months in Georgia to get normal rain.🙁
@LukesMushrooms2 жыл бұрын
This video is from Slovakia. We also had a long period of dry weather, but now we are having a lot of rain.
@ShtoraMorkn11212 жыл бұрын
Fortunately, a lot of rain is expected here, there are quite a lot of amanita caesarea growing in my area and I really want rain.

Thank you. It looks very similar but I believe it's not the same. It was some king of Leccinum - either albostipitatum or aurantiacum.
