It shows picking of the following mushroom species: Cep / Penny bun / King bolete (Boletus edulis), Bay bolete (Imleria badia), Chanterelles (Cantharellus sp.) and Scarletina bolete (Sutorius luridiformis).

Bay boletes! When I lived in Poland, we used to pick basket-fulls of these! We call them "blackheads" in Polish :) and, like you say in the video, my parents always said they were lower quality, flavour wise, to the porcini

How do you deal with maggots? Here they seem to be fully infested 90% of the time

Depends about luck and the season. In my experience the first summer ceps and late autumn ones are usually maggot-free. But in hot weather it can be a catastrophy :) I try to get rid of wormy parts of the mushrooms and sometimes I have to discard the whole mushroom if it's too bad.
