Mushroom Hunting Strategies - Pacific Northwest Fall Chanterelles

Fall is a great time of year. After the first rain, mushroom hunting is a great outdoor activity with the family. But where can you start? Where to go?
The first part of this video discusses how to use some of the online tools that are freely available to help you get a game plan together of where to hunt mushrooms. The focus is the Pacific Chanterelle, but along with this mushroom, there are many other choice edibles that you can find in the same areas.
The latter part of the video is going out in the field after we figured out a spot from the Topographic maps.
