Mushroom Liquid culture: Turn one harvest into 100's

this is a video describing how I make liquid culture from a colonized brown rice flour jar. As these small pieces of mycelium feed on the "sugar water" they will grow and sort of mend together to create an abundance of mycelium. The mycelium filled water can then be pulled into a syringe to inoculate grains (I use popcorn), you will now have multiple syringes worth. The liquid culture will give the opportunity to inoculate many more jars of grain in the future.
note: without fruiting first, there is no guarantee that the culture will fruit, but I have never had issues

So wait you use Brown Rice Flour? Does that speed up Inoculation times, and does it come Sterile? Also Great Idea I might use that for my APEs.

Yes, I use brown rice flour and verm. It is partially sterile due to being a food product. But mostly it is easy to sterilize (can be done with just a pot of boiling water in 2 hours)and the verm holds moisture for the mycelium to thrive. The other upside to this method is being able to control your medium by locking it in jars and sterilizing it thoroughly. Thanks for the support! Let me know if you have any other questions🫠🍄👍

Squirt the water into the jar, the mycelium will feed on the sugar from the corn syrup and grow.

Great demonstration. Do you bother with a stone/marble or magnetic stirrer bar in the jar, to aid the Mycellium growth in the new nutrient corn syrup jar? Also is it possible to just extend purchased LC syringes in higher volumes of homemade Corn Syrup batches, to have an near infinite supply from the master LC syringes original 10CC?

I do sometimes throw a small marble in to break up the mycelium when filling a syringe. And yes this Tek is perfect for extending purchased liquid culture syringes.

Just getting started here but been extending Grow Kits gifted from USA, via Stem Butts to card so far and re-using the blocks to fresher substrate. Going well so far. Love the short punchy videos of yours and am combining lots of different sources TEKS, towards future plans for a modified Broke Boi Tek Brown Rice grains spawn, or your own BRF PF TEK modification for making my own LC or Master Slurry Cultures at first to extend purchased LC to get started, as well as purchased Grain Spawns to extend G2G. It's a fascinating field I've only just stumbled on but the Mushroom Bug soon bites! Peace & Namaste & In'lakesh :)
