Mushroom Sauce - Traditional French Recipe

Mushroom sauce is an economical and easy-to-prepare recipe, perfect for accompanying a variety of dishes, such as pasta, chicken, or steaks. It can also be a great addition to a festive meal like Christmas or New Year's.
To make this sauce, there are some tips to follow which I'll share with you below. If you follow the steps carefully, you'll have a really great mushroom sauce.
Like any recipe, this mushroom sauce can be adjusted to your tastes. You can also incorporate other mushrooms such as oyster mushrooms, porcini, or morels.
For better planning, this is a sauce that you can prepare the day before and reheat on the day you plan to use it.
Ingredients:
500 grams of button mushrooms
1 shallot
1 teaspoon of flour
125 milliliters of white wine
1 teaspoon of chicken stock (optional)
200 milliliters of heavy cream
150 milliliters of milk
Salt and pepper
