First Pink Pan inoculated cannabis sprout: Super Silver Haze. I had to use an oldie but goodie, using a knife to cut air channels, to the bottom of the container. Some parts of the growing medium, already felt as though I was cutting through a solid mass. Old tricks (technique), still keep the cannabis coming. The added difficulty, experimenting multiculture containers, planted rooted ginger (deep), then garlic and cannabis atop. Throughout the containers, hybrid fungal cultures are colonising, as well as having been inoculated from the top, using Pink Pan spores (hopefully inoculating cannabis spouts as well).

Wow. That's pretty sweet, how easy it is for the dogs to find them. I thought they were always farther below the surface.

My dog would dig up little balls all the time in the forest. I always thought it was something feces, thinking back on it I am sure some were truffles.

The 90-degree-stiped Pink Pan inoculated, garlic shoots developing sideways. No cannabis sprouts yet, I may need to use, an alternate method, for germinating the cannabis seeds. Then again, it is always slower to sprout seeds, from the growing medium or soil.

_Tuber oregonense_ seems to be about $20-$25/ounce fresh. Certainly more valuable than many mushrooms in the PNW.

I'm to the NNW of you up in the SJ Islands - we certainly have the Doug Fir and sword ferns, but it's quite a bit more overgrown.. Do we stand a chance finding any without a truffle dog?
@MamaStyles3 сағат бұрын
I can’t say I ever found any in my ten years up there but I also didn’t have a truffle dog either 😅

@@MamaStyles Do you ever locate the truffles yourself just by smell?
@drewpknutz1410Сағат бұрын
@@northwestsparrow You can do it, but you have to be prepared to spend a whole day flat on your belly with your face no further than 1/16th of an inch off the ground. You also need to put earplugs in, because it will heighten your sense of smell... good luck!

I have mini pigs! Juliana pigs were bred for truffle hunting! My son got some so I will be training two to hunt. Anyone interested in ordering one, I only breed if I have homes for them.

Certainly hope they taste better than my tampanensis sclerotia 🤢
