70's and 80's prog was the peak of music in the last century, and this was the best of it. So underrated.

Yes, I couldn't have said it any better than you myself. I'm American singer/guitarist and I love Popol Vuh/Ace and quite a few other great bands from Northern Europe and I consider Popol Vuh/Ace one of the greatest bands ever formed. Their music is passionate, emotive, and powerful. The best prog rock in the world.

What a wonderfully dynamic and powerful voice does Jahn Teigen have! Or "had", by the moment I'm writing this. When I think of prog rock, first band that comes to mind is Popol Ace, but its search results on YT are a handful.

An incredibly good band. There are substantial rumours going around about a release of live material from the seventies. My sources are good and reliable, but information is scarce.
