@@xanthais141 Stephen Spielberg, at the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award tribute on his longtime friend and collaborator: "Without John Williams, bikes don't fly, nor do brooms in Quidditch matches, nor do men in red capes. There is no Force. Dinosaurs do not walk the earth. We do not wonder, we do not weep, we do not believe."

I had an opportunity to meet him years ago. Los Angeles City College had a tribute event for him. John Williams was once a former student at the college. He was humble and gracious. This documentary will highlight his brilliance in music and give us a greater appreciation for the hardwork that went into creating all those iconic film scores and Olympic themes! Some of my favorites are Superman, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Far and Away, Empire of the Sun, Indiana Jones, and Olympic Spirit!

Can’t want to watch this one. His music instantly transports me to my first time watching those movies. Powerful stuff.

Although I am not a musician I am an extreme lover of film. What John Williams has done for film should not ever be unappreciated. He is a musical icon. Unfortunately he may also be a dying breed of composers. I truly hope that young musicians will see this documentary and become inspired to never let music in its truest format die. I hear Mr.Williams music and I become filled with such pure emotion. He has such an ability to make the audience feel a movie though HIS sound. He gives movies just as much personality and meaning as the directors and actors do. He is a legend. He is an American treasure. And he has given me so much joy in my life through his amzing work. Thank you John Williams. You've touched more lives (mine and my childrens especially) than you'll ever know! 🫡👏🫡👏

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart walked so that Ludwig von Beethoven could run so that John Towner Williams could sprint.

Such a shame that the destroyers of Star Wars KK and Jar Jar Abrams are included in this documentary. They shouldn't even be allowed to be 1 km near the incredible maestro.

While I also have issues with current Star Wars (some of them severe), I'm also not doom-n-gloom about it. Nothing's ruined in my eyes. If I don't want to watch them, I won't. I always have the originals to harken back to. To each their own, IMHO.
