My Tears Richochet is about Scott Borchetta her label selling her music (her stolen lullabies), but the jewels she gave him were the albums that went gold, platinum, and diamond.

the was you (Dad ) understand Taylor music is so satisfying to me I want to scream of how happy it makes me

I love your insight and reaction! Would love to see you react to the differences between All Too Well original 5 min compared to the 10 minute Taylor’s Version. It’s great to see her skills grow plus it’s wild she basically wrote it as-is in one sitting 😯

@@MusicDadReacts That is awesome. Folklore and Evermore is where Taylor has gained a lot of new fans, particularly men and older people, notice I said older, not old people. I have been a fan since day one, I am a 64-year-old Swifty. There was one who made a comment on a reactor's post, he was 83 and went to see the Eras Tour film twice. Her fans span generations.

I hope you will supplement your folklore experience by watching "The Long Pond Sessions" movie. I can't emphasize strongly enough how fun it is to experience the folklore songs in that context (which includes not only seeing the performances, but hearing their discussions of the songs). Since you've already reacted to the albums, you obviously wouldn't need to do a song-by-song reaction to each song in the movie but, perhaps, after you hear the whole album you could watch the movie and give an overall summary of your reactions to the movie. The folklore album is what made me a swiftie in a purely musical sense, but the Long Pond Sessions (along with the Miss Americana documentary and the Reputation Stadium Tour movie made me fall completely in love with Taylor as a entertainment genius and respect her more deeply as an amazing human being.

My first thought upon hearing Bon Iver's voice on Exhile was he sounds a lot like Geoff Tate of Queensryche on Silent Lucidity (especially the opening verse). Great song.

Absolutely. You are spot on! Geoff has an amazing voice with a great range as well.

I totally feel the same about music and goosebumps. Some music, especially live music will make me tear up even when it isn’t sad. The music just like overwhelms my senses haha

23:30 shoegaze has actually been my most recent genre i've begun to try to understand. It is not similar to mirrorball. It's like if dream pop and post rock had a baby, from my understanding. Much more focus on distorted guitars rather than the dreamy stuff in mirrorball. Mirrorball is my personal favorite song on the album, exile is second. I can totally space out to it when it's playing. I also could see it as a "night driving" song. I am excited for more Music Dad Reacts videos!!
@MusicDadReacts11 ай бұрын
Ah... ok... yeah. More distortion in shoegaze. So would you say mirrorball is dream pop?

It would be better if the dad reacted alone with his own thoughts. Not really a reaction if the girl is pushing her narrative and interpretation.

Hi Alex, I replied to your similar comment on the Part 1 video. Thanks for checking out Part 2! The remaining parts will be in this style since they were already recorded weeks ago. I think the father/daughter reaction and commentary style is something that sets us apart from being "yet another reaction video". But I'm open to feedback and appreciate your comment.

She’s not ‘pushing her narrative’, she’s giving him the background and context that accompanies these songs, which is important when it comes to an artist like Taylor who writes a lot about real life events. He also clearly has his own opinions and comments as well. It’s nice seeing someone bond with their Dad like this, just enjoy it!
