I remember when I first played this game. Traveling into the future where all technology has gone then you arrive at a Giant puddle and play a form of soccer inside it! That was awsome

The soccer game was around in the ancient times too. It was the only thing that made it to Titus future timeline... Besides himself, and jecht, and auron lol blitz ball that's what it was and it was the best mini game outside of triple triad cards in ff8

None of it was time travel though... zero. Tidus and his Zanarkand were literal dreams of the fayth. Completely made up things. They're basically summons, the spirits of the dead (pyreflies) that stay inside of Sin's body and the wall of fayth, preserving their eternal life and constructing their eternal dream. Jecht and Tidus were the only ones able to escape into the real world and manifest, like Auron and Seymour, because of the pilgrimage summons wanted to die. No time travel.

Love or hate Final Fantasy, you can't deny the franchise's soundtrack quality. It's up there with Doom, Halo, Star Wars, and Squad when it comes to the music and SFX.

just discovered this game on the switch after many many years. my brother always reccomended this game in the ps2/3 era and although i like FF for some reason i skipped part X. Even now, this was one of the most amazing and moving gaming experiences in many years, on par with kindom hearts 1 for sure (is the soundtrack composer perhaps the same??). This game has moved me to tears, loved it!
