@@MrColuber I didn't say it was. But he history of the genre is in fact tied to the cultural anthropology of the country. That doesn't mean it has to affect your enjoyment of it, but it doesn't change the fact that it is what it is historically/contextually.

Total disrespect and misinformation!! Fado was never a problem for "fascists" in Portugal! Actually the 1 and only Portuguese Fascist president was all about the Portuguese traditions including fado. Stay in your lane darling! Don't appreciate others culture!!
